This is an interesting candidate going up against a long-term corporate Republican.
Cynthia Matthews looks like a moderate/liberal environmental candidate, pro-labor, Democrat. She is running in a very Republican dominated district that's held by the very pro-business David Dreier. A quick look at http://opensecrets.org shows that he's completely sold out to corporate interests and not in touch with the local people.
