Picket lines

Picket lines...
kabc_020404_strikers.jpg, image/jpeg, 200x150

Welcome to Adobe GoLive 6

All local TV news channels aired a story on the grocers rejection of the union’s binding arbitration proposal last night. They also covered a militant picketing event at a vons in Culver City. They did show much of what happened that night. But they missed a number of very important events, including a scab who tried to run down a striker with her car. This incident was witnessed by at least 10 people and videoed by a number of people there with camcorders. This woman has committed assault with a deadly weapon. Anyone with video should show it to the police. Or at least post it here on LA-IMC
KCAL 9 reported the event live as did several other local news channels. There were at least eight TV news vans in the parking lot and a news helicopter overhead. One can be sure that there is plenty of feed that was not aired, clearly showing the hostility of the scabs towards the strikers. None of this was broadcast. The Culver City police watched and did nothing. If there ever was an example of which side the government takes in a labor dispute it was clearly on display that night. If LA-IMC had a news van with satellite uplink the world would see and hear real time what’s really happening on the picket lines.

We haven't figured out a good way to let people upload pictures that are embedded in a layout.

I think you're the second person in our history to request this.

This software is not very advanced, as you can see.

If the images you want to place in your HTML table are already online you can simply link to them using an "IMG" tag. For instance, http://la.indymedia.org/uploads/sml-news-reporter.jpg" >, would show the image of the newscaster above.

Use these URL's like you would with any image file when building a simple table.

This image wasn't downloaded, I just used it's absolute URL (http://la.indymedia.org/uploads/sml-news-reporter.jpg) to place it in this table cell.
You could upload the pictures somewhere else first, if need be, and then use those absolute URL's for the images in your table.
