Since 1996, at least nine states have rejected schemes that would have required fingerprints for the driver's license. Alabama, Washington, New Jersey, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Virginia have rejected such measures, and Nebraska has rejected a biometric identifier generally.
The current administration has announced a program that will require fingerprints of immigrants.

Do you see it as an invasion of privacy? How? You'd best start wearing gloves allt he time, then...'cause you're leaving your "private fingerprints" all over the place.
Anything that identifies threats to my family or the security of my country, and removes those threats from the street, is a good thing.
I can't believe anyone is against this.
