The following are U.S. and British troops who have died supporting U.S.-led operations in Iraq.
According to the latest figures, 504 U.S. soldiers have died since the beginning of military operations in Iraq. Of those, more than two-thirds – currently 365 – have died on or since May 1, when President Bush declared that major combat operations in Iraq had ended.
The British government has reported 57 deaths, Italy has reported 17, Spain has reported 10, Bulgaria 5, Ukraine 3, Thailand and Poland 2 each, and Denmark has 1.
According to U.S. Central Command, 2,912 troops have been wounded since March, 2003.
