Today in Boston at a local catholic college 200 therapists and other clinicians were spoon fed a skewed perspective on the sexual abuse crisis in the church by a panel of clinicians hand picked by church leaders.

Todays Boston College gathering was attended by a smattering of priests and nuns in habit in addition to the invited mental health professionals from around the country. Signaling a twisted need by the church to keep control of burgeoning aspects of the fallout Healing Assistance Director Barbara Thorpe insisted
in response to the assertion that Catholic clergy are inappropriate intermediaries to mental health care giving. An outside agency has been suggsted strongly by Ma attorney general Tom Rielly;
"It is not only our duty but an honor
to be the ones who victims turn to"
The appearance of topics such as "Care for the community Parish a model for forgivness" and " theology and psychology of the roman catholic priest"
indicated in addition to the pedegree of almost all of the panel participants a propensity toward catholic perspectives. Therapists who would not attend spoke of the plain to see disregard for sensitivity issues surrounding sexually abused survivors of catholic clergy. One therapist explained it as; A catholic
versus notably missing alternative and obviously appropriate other avenue for spiritual wellbeing left survivors out of the picture and victims once again.
