The reason is. . .

by Chihauhau Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004 at 7:22 AM

The reason is that we don't base our foreign affairs on simple snap shots.

We look at the surrounding context of the situation.

We are able to understand the difference between Islamofacists murdering thousands in an effort to impose Sharia law on a free people. . . and inadvertant civilian casualties caused while attempting to liberate an oppressed people from a tyrrant.

Its almost like asking: "Why do we condemn Pearl Harbor, but celebrate D-Day?"

That's hilarious. Is that what these "morans" came up with to try and purge those who continually shove the truth in their face? And I missed all this.

Yep.

I take it as a badge of honor that they bestowed upon those of us who have done most in the way of teaching the resident fools.

Keep at it. Soon you'll have one of your own.

Bullshit

by Fuck you Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004 at 12:05 PM

"The reason is that we don't base our foreign affairs on simple snap shots. "

Nor on international law, morality, ethics, or anything approaching a consistent or fair view of the world. No. We base our foreign affairs on violence, the threat of violence, and outright state terrorism.

"We look at the surrounding context of the situation. "

Correct. "We" look at large oil and gas reserves, and we say: "How can we arrange a plausible sounding pretext to invade that place?"

"We" also say: "Hey, it ain't my kid's guts and brains being splattered. That makes it A-O-K."

"We are able to understand the difference between Islamofacists murdering thousands in an effort to impose Sharia law on a free people. . . and inadvertant civilian casualties caused while attempting to liberate an oppressed people from a tyrrant. "

I thought "we" were supposed to "understand" the weapons of mass destruction that Saddam (our former employee, see photo, w/ Rumsfeld, circa 1983) had pointed at our throats, in Saddam's desert bastion of immense power?

After all, it is Saddam "we" are supposed to fear, right? His awesome capabilities to strike us in our sleep, with the "most terrible weapons ever devised" that poppy Bush just happened to sell him (but were destroyed in 1991, as the world outside of the USA knows, and knew all too well).

"Its almost like asking: "Why do we condemn Pearl Harbor, but celebrate D-Day?""

Actually you've got Pearl Harbor all wrong. "We" provoked Pearl Harbor. And, much like September 11th, "we" did nothing to thwart the attack because it was the necessary pretext to wage the war that "we" so desired to wage.

Maybe you need to take a look at some more of those photographs to help clear your mind of the vast heaps of garbage that currently occupies it. As it stands today, "we" cause far more "terror" in the world than a thousand Al Qaeda's could ever hope to inflict.

Terrorism = Terrorism, Morons...Get some real context and a clue..

by neocons suck bush so hard, they ate his brain Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004 at 12:20 PM

fresh loves having conversations with himself and spreads his schizophrenia to others who
are better suited for a taco bell burrito...

Its real simple with context:
1.) The terrorists who attacked on 9/11 don't want to take over the U.S., they just want the
U.S. out of the Middle East, specifically Saudi Arabia, which is the country that the majority
of them were from. But for some reason we bombed civilians in Afghanistan instead
and the Taliban still runs buckwild, to and from their daddy's houses in S.A. But we'll we
ever settle the issue with the Saudi's; as long as they have oil doesn't seem like it.
2.) As the 9/11 commission has already suggested, this could have been prevented, but
bush didn't bother since it fit into the Cheney-Rum-Wolf-Perle cabal's plans for having an excuse
for taking over the Middle East's oil supplies. What do you expect when you have oil
barons for a pres and vice-prez and their good friends are the Bin Laden family, who were
wisked out of the U.S. from Texas after the attack.
3.) As it has been proven again and again, the U.S. had no pretense to attack Iraq. There
were no WMD'S (although we know the CIA may plant some before the november election,
which is what Joseph Wilson's wife was also going to expose) and there was no Iraq-
Al-Qaeda connection. Former Treasurer O'Neil just revealed what progressives were
saying all along, that the bu(ll)sh(it)ies were planning to attack Iraq before 9/11.
4.) So there is no difference. Many Americans are just too brainwashed by FUX and
CNN and too ignorant to figure it out, and then we have mo-mos like fresh and taco
bell food who try to perpetuate that ignorance as the truth. Why bother, you ain't getting
paid by FOX are you? Maybe you're getting paid by someone else...

There is your context, now shove it up your ass so it may reach your brain...

peace.

by fresca Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004 at 3:08 PM

Well, we must be hitting a nerve. The ostriches are kicking up sand as their heads start to pull out.

I love listening to all the "America's the terrorist" crowd start hyperventilating with all the standard buzzphrases everytime it's shown to them what fools the truth makes them out to be.

The last few comments are soooooo full of gems of ignorance and sheepspeak that one wonders where to begin.

The "we provoked Pearl Harbor" is a nice one. I suppose the blockade of Japan, as it committed pure aggresion was an aggregious act which fairly and rightly resulted in the attck. And after all, it allowed us our desire to enter the war. You know the one where we profitted so much. The one where we destroyed that poor man Hitler. Another black mark on America's imperial face.

Oh and 9-11 could have been prevented. Yeah, that's exactly what the commission has found. Verbatim. Nice use of the buzzword cabal. Extra points for that.

Now the whole "Saudi's attacked us but we bombed Afganistan!" is a classic. Couldn't be because the swarthy neanderthals of the Taliban were protecting, aiding and supporting those who attcked us on 9-11. No. It was because of Afganistan's rich oil supplies. All 15 gallons of it.

Anyway, I must thank you all for entertaining me a bit and illustrating how utterly lemming like and ill-informed you all are. I appologize for upsetting you with some fairly obvious truths but you'll simply have to open your eyes a bit more and branch out from the standard kpfk/ internet conspiracy theory nonsense you allow to pass for information.

Have a good day pupils,

See what happens

by Slick Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004 at 5:52 PM

when you dig into a leftists views just a bit.

You realize that the foundation is Twilight Zone stuff such as:

Actually you've got Pearl Harbor all wrong. "We" provoked Pearl Harbor. And, much like September 11th, "we" did nothing to thwart the attack because it was the necessary pretext to wage the war that "we" so desired to wage.

I guess the Chinese provoked the rape of Nanking, too.

You're still here, therefore, you have not been purged.

You're still writing, so you must not have been censored.

This website could use some purges and censorship.

"You're still here, therefore, you have not been purged.

Thank you for summing up the reply to those who calim America is turning into a fascist dictatorship. Not that they'll believe it; the truth just kind of rolls off them.

"This website could use some purges and censorship."

Interesting, m-r. Sounds like you'd like an imc Patriot Act...or rather, what the Left wrongly perceives the Patriot Act to be.

Purges? Censorship? Are you going to call for pogroms and re-education camps next?

My, my...scratch a liberal, find a totalitarian.
