Ha ha ha ha ha ha ....gasp--ha ha..
Good agiprop. I love it.
(BTW editors, thank you for your some times mysterious and unrevealed removal process [hands thrown up to some higher, more omnipotent power] there by saving me from myself and all others) If I have offended any body it's was intentional; thank you for not hunting me down this time.

Nice (funny) pic, and nice blog, Art. It's now in my favorites folder. I remember you from Mike Ruppert's now defunct board, where I also posted quite a bit, and I've read your posts at Guerilla News, too. Could you (or anybody) explain the process for including pictures in posts on this board? I tried an HTML code after selecting html format, but it didn't work.

When you enter the 'add your comments' page , you will see near the bottom
step three: attach files.
Pull down to one and hit enter.
A browse box comes back where you nay look through you own files for selection.

Thanks, Sheepdog. I'm still not clear on box #3, I'm afraid. What exactly would I have to do to include this jpg?

Perhaps I can try and help (all politics aside).
Actually sheep has explained it pretty well..maybe a "neocon zionist fascist" can help.
Find your pic on the internet...right click on it and choose "save picture as"
Choose a location to store it from the window that pops up..desktop or my documents..somewhere where you'll remeber it.
Go to IMC....make a post.. withijn "Step Three" choose the number of files you want to upload (probably one)... Click ENTER ... nOT... PUBLISH.
Your post form will reappear now in STEP THREE there is a Field that has a BROWSE button next to it....Click BROWSE and from the window that appears find the pic you saved (whereevr you saved it at the beginning of all this.
Now click PUBLISH.
That should work.
Like this pic of my dog at halloween.

Perhaps you're right.
But what exactly do you mean for Calvin (that's the dog) to come out to midway fo the tuna?
Thanks for the input though.

I'm moving fresca down one notch, from a ten to a nine, on my asshole chart. (Sorry, I couldn't resist ;-) I think I did everything you suggested, in that order, and got nada, but I'll try again. Yes, Sheepdog, eye be a poore bastard using Gates' finest garbage. My friends with Macs keep trying to tell me. Thank you too, "try this." Once I get it, (assuming I do) I'll no doubt slap myself, or maybe I could get fresca to slap me for a small fee. Or would she do it for free?

the natural flexability of your dog will inhibit movment and stress the frame ( of what ever) of your tuna as graphed by your photoshop.. securing the tuna frame's mouth to Max's waist will allow Max to move freely ( with a cut out bottom for the rear feet to move) and even, if your clever with the frame, relieve itself.

You need to make a hole at the back end so he can take a shit otherwise PETA will be after you for animal welfare violations. If he just takes a piss won't that make the costume go soggy and the fins droop?
Just my thoughts.......

I'm going to ask my cat for her opinion on all this. She has great insight into matters where dogs and fish are concerned.

How excellent to have a converstaion of sorts without all the political nonsense for a change. Maybe it's the holiday spirit or maybe just the time honored ploy of dressing dogs up.
Whatever, it's welcome.
Some thoughts.
First of all, I really just want Calvin to be dressed up like a big fish. I chose a yellowfin tuna because it can get very large and because I really like to fish.
Sheepdog, you've made some excellent design proposals, but at the end of the day, I think I just want to jam him in a paper mache tuna and carry him about; setting him down for a few pics. He probably wouldn't abide by the thing for more than a few seconds anyway before he destroyed it.
As for helping S and B...look...we all, well at least I do, come here to talk about stuff that I usually don't get the chance to in everyday life. Life's too busy. Here it's easy to scratch that itch of arguing politics. I believe that we all sorta share that pleasure. Not just discussing but arguing. But I don't think there's anyone here who I've ever argued with and insulted who I wouldn't help out in real life if I knew them. If I only had friends who shared my views, I wouldn't have friends. One of my best friends is a dedicated KPFK, Bush Hating leftist and I'd do ANYTHING for her. Anything. We argue all the time and then somehow we're talking about surfing or the website I'm making for her or whatever.
The point is, is that I have no reason to really dislike anyone here. Our online personas might go at it but, hell, even if Meyer was my next door neighbor I'd help him move a refrigerator or invite him to the BBQ.
Anyway, just my thoughts on the matter.
Now, as far as Mac vs PC go. My vote is with PC's all the way. I have and use both. I design and work on PC but use MAc for testing and some other things (Final Cut, etc.) I recently bought one of the new 17" Powerbooks for my girlfriend (yes, I'm a guy..always have been). It's a BEAUTIFUL machine and Panther is elegant, but at the end of the day it's no more stable than XP...even a G5 is sluggish compared to an equvalent P4 and there are still a few too many clicks needed in the mac world to do routine tasks. (Try FULLY CLOSING a program in MAC with ONE click). And, MACS are ridiculously expensive and way to proprietary of a system.
All that said, it's nice to have both but my own desktops will always be PC's.
Anyway, that's my rant. I'm off to play a nightgame. I might be pitching. Pray that I have my curve back.
Happy holidays to ALL of you.

First of all, Macs aren't really more expensive than PCs when you get comparably equipped units.
Secondly, Macs are to PCs as BMWs are to Hyundais.
It's no contest. It's not even close. Macs rock. PCs suck.
Windows expecially sucks. It's a piss poor attempt to imitate the Mac -- that's really all it's ever been -- it's two years behind -- and it sucks.
The 17 inch Macintosh Powerbook is a love affair of a computer. It totall rocks.

Whatever. Use what you want to use.
But read any of the latest Mac Magazines where they put the Dual G5's against a Dual Pentium Pc and ther ereally is no contest. The P4's eat the G5's for breakfast.
Personally, there are things I like better about the MAC but as far as sheer performance and Horsepower, there's no comparison.
Macs are to PC's as BMW's are to a Hemi Cuda.

Saying that dual P4s have more power than dual G5's falls into the BFD category Fresca.
That's like saying that a Corvette is better than a Porche because it comes with a bigger engine.
Macs are elegant and refined. Mac users have always had a love affair with their computers.
Do you know anyone who loves Microsoft or Microsoft's products?

I agree that Mac's ARE elegant and aestheticly more pleasing, but when it comes to wanting to get work done, using heavy processing programs like Flash, Photoshop, Fireworks etc., without having to restart or "force quit" a PC is the only way to go and that's because of the horsepower. Besides, XP is, in many ways as if not more so intuitive than even Panther.
I'm happy to have both, but if I was to have a love affair with a computer it would be with a PC I built myself, exactly the way I wanted it.

"it's is so full of security holes the shell consists of anti intrusion patches. Not with Mac."
Perhaps. But more to the point is the fact that the single most effective defense macs have against intrusion and hacking (and they are definetly NOT immune) is that so very few (somewhere between 5 and 9% of ALL computer users) even HAVE a MAC.
There IS a reason for this.

How different is Linux on Mac than on a PC?
Is it a substantial difference in configuration?
It seems like Linux on a MAC would do away with the one thing that seems worthy and that's aspects of the MAC operating system. Do away with that and you're left with LINUX on a sluggish CPU.
I don't know. Is this at all the case?
