1. Resistance continues despite desperate US.
http://www.geocities.com/iraqiresistancesolidarity/saddamcapture1.html
Dear all,
Desperate for some "good news" in their floundering war against the
Iraqi people and the rising tide of Iraqi Resistance, the US
occupation forces announced on Sunday that they had captured Iraqi
President Saddam Hussein. Reports by the occupation forces in the
past about capturing and killing Iraqi leaders have been unreliable,
but even assuming this report to be accurate, it changes nothing as
regards the objective situation of imperialist-Zionist occupation of
Iraq and the Iraqi people's resistance to it. And indeed today a
martyrdom bomber carried out a mission in Iraq. So long as the
occupation continues, the resistance will grow.
Revolutionary greetings!
Muhammad Abu Nasr

Statement from the Chairman of the Socialist Arab Coalition of North America
www.geocities.com/arabsocialistcoalition
I think what is needed now is an EXCEPTIONAL operation against the US occupation to bring back the morale of the whole Arab nation and the Iraqi resistance back up.
This is a slap on the face and a dark day for all those who are insulted by US arrogance, let us channel this energy and anger towards the US occupation itself, let the ground shake beneath their feet.
They want to display this as a victory for themselves let this be the beginning of their downfall.
Escalate the resistance. We must recall how the PFLP answered the assasination of Abu Ali Mustafa let this be an earthshaking replicate.
Death to US imperialism!
Death to the Iraqi traitors and agents of imperialism!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Saddam is captured.
Saddam is captured.
Saddam is captured.
Get used to the sound of it. It will be heard over and over again.
Saddam was captured and the occupation lives on.
The media denies the power of the masses and tells the public
that the resistance of the patriotic Iraqis is all the fault of
Saddam. They fight because Saddam is still alive and is on the
loose.
Saddam is captured, but the resistance will not end.
The resistance is rooted in the rage of the Iraqi people. They
have been defiled, killed, and tortured by the imperial forces and
the public is told that the resistance is because of Saddam.
No…the Iraqis fight for their freedom. No people will be
subjugated without resistance.
"Caught like a rat," says General Odierno of the US capitalist
army. Saddam may be caught, but the Iraqi resistance lives.
The capture of Saddam means nothing, for the occupation has
not ended and the abuse of the Iraqi people continues.
The pictures in the media show scattered groups of Iraqis
cheering and marching. In one video is seen a group of no more
than what appears to be 50 Iraqis carrying pictures of an Islamic
cleric. Yet another video shows a group of perhaps 200 Iraqis
waving red flags emblazoned with the hammer and sickle.
Where are the masses of people cheering and marching? They
are not there for the masses – and the masses are fully attuned
to the reality – recognize that nothing has changed.
Does this capture of Saddam gain jobs for the 70% of Iraqis who
are unemployed.
Does this capture of Saddam end the occupation?
Does this capture of Saddam sound the death knell of the forced
privitization of Iraqi industries?
Does this capture of Saddam liberate the Iraqi people from the
imperialist boot that is pressed against the peoples' throat?
No.
The capture of Saddam is meaningless. The capture of Saddam
provides a photo opportunity for the imperial forces. Nothing
more.
Yet this ebullience amongst the imperialists will be met with
resistance.
Will the resistance die down as Saddam has been captured?
No.
The imperialists will have their troops murdered. The resistance
will continue.
The blood of the occupiers will flow in Tikrit. The blood of the
imperialists will stain the ground of Mosul and Khaldiya. The
blood of the capitalists' fighters will stain the Iraqi soil.
The stain will live as a testament to the resistance. The blood is
not desired because the Iraqi people love violence. The blood is
desired and the blood will be spilled because the Iraqi people
love freedom and liberation.
Remember the statue of Saddam! It was toppled in Baghdad
and the imperialists said they were victorious. Fuhrer Bush
proclaimed "Mission Accomplished". Some were pained to see
the statue toppled. The U.S. was in control. Yes, the statue was
toppled, but a statue cannot resist. A statue has no beating heart
and no desire for freedom.
Mission accomplished he said.
Mission beginning the Iraqi resistance said.
So as the statue fell and imperial triumphalism reigned, the
seeds of the destruction of imperial control were germinating.
One soldier dead in Falluja, ten dead in another village. The
resistance did not die in its infancy when the statue was toppled.
Neither will it die with the capture of the real Saddam.
The Iraqis fight on and the resistance will continue.
The blood of the imperialists will flow.
The Iraqis will be liberated.
Saddam is gone, the resistance is not.
FOR A FREE IRAQ!
FOR A LIBERATED IRAQ!
DEATH TO THE IMPERIALISTS!
DEATH TO THE COLLABORATORS!
LONG LIVE THE RESISTANCE!
NO TURNING BACK!
