Alex Jones is a "paranoid anti-state" front for a conservative shadow group. Lyndon Larouche is a fascist. Don't be fooled by the crypto-fascists.

Lately, on this site, there have been posts pointing to Infowars.com and/or referring to Alex Jones.

A quick perusal of their site will show that they bash the ACLU as "socialists" and support neo-fascist fugitive poster-boy of the white-supremicist scene, Eric Rudolph.

The far-right nationalist fascists are just as paranoid about the police as the far-left direct action radicals. They both mistrust tracking technology, corporations, cops, and government, but that's their only affinity. Beyond that, they have radically different visions of the future.

Anarchists, socialists/communists, and pacifists generally end up lumped together because they have an internationalist vision of people united across national boundaries, democracy, and world peace.

Neo-fascists, libertarians, and the far right are lumped together because they have a nationalist vision of closed borders, poverty, discrimination, and national defense.

Lyndon Larouche is the paramount example. His chameleon politics conform to whatever's popular among the angry. Today, it's the anti-Bush and "peace" scenes. You see the Larouche cultists at every event passing out papers.

"Beginning in the 1970s, the LaRouchites combined populist antielitism with attacks on leftists, environmentalists, feminists, gay men and lesbians, and organized labor. They advocated a dictatorship in which a “humanist” elite would rule on behalf of industrial capitalists. They developed an idiosyncratic, coded variation on the Illuminati Freemason and Jewish banker conspiracy theories."

Jeff Rense is another symp or dupe to the right wing libertarian paranoids. Look at his site - it's full of weird UFO stories, anti-police, anti-state, and other curiosities. Some of these definitely appeal to the Left, but, where's the real politics? What kind of society do they envision when the lies are exposed?

Not all anti-globalization activists are progressive. Many are anti-UN isolationists. They have a tendency to be anti-immigrant too, and at least one truly neo-fascist anti-glob website has turned up. It's a front group designed to lure people into hate groups.

I posit that they want to create an American fascism, a strong nationalism that's open to anyone from any race, as long as they are willing to close borders and kill outsiders. They believe that America should remain a capitalist superpower, but one that doesn't engage in foreign policy.

Please, IMC, remove this right-wing ideology masking as "anarchism" of some sort. Anarchism isn't about cutting the heads off government; it's about growing the grassroots, and eliminating the need for larger governments.
