Market Dictatorships are a threat to peace.

Market Dictatorships are societies where economic value is the only measure of an individual's worth. Access to clean water, food, medicine, and justice should be based on democratic, moral, environmental, human and economic values.

Profits soar when brutal regimes keep labor costs low and resources in ample supply by suppressing the rights of people living under their authoritarian rule. We become too costly as individuals and communities if we seek a living wage, healthcare, environmental protections, representation, and access to information.

Democracy is undermined by Market Dictatorships. Human values are replaced by the economic values of the free market. Market Dictatorships love democracy as long as it remains an authority auction.

As citizens, we can protect our peace, democracy, and fair trade efforts from Market Dictatorships. We have an opportunity to lead by example in the global struggle against Market Dictatorship.
