This section of the canal is straight and stretches from Gallager Retail Park car park to the bridge and Clock tower of The Mutual clothing Company.
On the other side of the car park and canal rises a wooded embankment, which goes up a hill to where one can get a panoramic view of Coventry City. For 3-second film clip visit

The Elephant and Castle. It has an extensive beer garden and a very nice childrens play area.
The Elephant and Castle is the halfway point back to the Adam & Eve pub (they sell the most tasty beer called Bombardier bitter) with the following 5 public houses along the way.
