It is the very nice pub that is only a few hundred meters away from the Coventry canal where watercyle training for the world championship 100 meter and 10km human powered boat races take place. This section of the canal is straight and stretches from Gallager Retail Park car park to the bridge and Clock tower of Mutual clothing Company.

on the other side of the car park and canal rises a wooded embankment and up a hill to where one can get panoramic view of Coventry City.

From this canal junction it is posible to go to the Navigation pub in bedworth or through the lock to the Elephant and Castle public house Aldermans Green Rd CV2 1NL Tel: 024 7636 4606

The Elephant and Castle is the halfway point back to the parradise watercycling base area camp near Adam & Eve pub ( they sell the most tasty bitter beer called Bombardier bitter)with the following 5 public houses along the way
