Pursuant to clause 2 of rule XV, I, Jim Marshall, move to discharge the Committee on Rules from the consideration of the resolution (H. Res. 251) entitled, a resolution providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 303) to amend title 10, United States Code, to permit retired members of the Armed Forces who have a service-connected disability to receive both military retired pay by reason of their years of military service and disability compensation from the Department of Veterans Affairs for their disability; which was referred to said committee on May 22, 2003, in support of which motion the undersigned Members of the House of Representatives affix their signatures, to wit:
