Over the years, there has been some bad blood being stirred up by the neighborhood
kids against me. This has been after I moved to a very quiet section of Big
Bear known as Lake Williams. I know how to make bombs out of tennis balls and
I was wondering if I should take revenge on these punks by putting my little
gems in their mailboxes or if I should save them if Dean should get elected
President and ruin this redeemed country of ours. What do you think?

As ridiculous as the KOBE thread is and as silly as they all seem to be, there is no mention of a death threat. Unless, of course, the "kids" are mailboxes.

It just so happens that I know about the Lake Williams enclave in Big Bear. You or your parents obviously are pretty well off if you now live there. Your dilemma has to do with their perception that you have moved up the ladder, and left them behind, right? They think of you as a "rich boy" who thinks he's better than them (or something to that effect). Am I right?

If so, let me tell you this: there's nothing you can do about it, nor should you. As long as you are still yourself, you should feel no guilt. Perhaps their talking about you might hurt your feelings, but there's nothing wrong with living the lifestyle you are now priviliged to live. As long as you havent become arrogant and snobbish towards them, then THEY are the ones with the problem. If they suddenly beacme your enemies after you moved to Lake Williams, then they were never your friends to begin with. The mailbox bomb idea is out of the question. You cant allow a foolish act like that to put you in jail, and setting off a mailbox bomb wont make you seem "cool" at all.

Enjoy your privilege, and learn what you can from your parents, new friends and your neighbors. What you learn will insure that you can always find your way back to your place in society, because you will know how to get there. Even if you lose everything and have to start over, you will have a plan.

Thanks for the advice. I'm not actually a "rich boy." I just have long hair and they make fun of me for looking like a girl, which I don't. Recently this one kid was making fun of me for liking Slipknot. That's where I draw the line, right there. Nobody disses me for being a Slipknot fan and gets away with it. Slipknot kicks ass!
