Hi All:

I just finished a hour & half phone call to Rep Steven King's office here in Iowa. ..this went on into a lively debate with his office manager on Iraq, the 87 billion and Israel.

Here is the important point that I want to bring to you, in the last 15 minutes of that conversation, i told this man that I was opposed to the 87 billion Bush wants for Iraq when, in fact, no WMD's were found in Iraq. THe OM ask me what I would think if the WMD's were in Syria. I said...I didn't think that argument would hold water when Bush had been unable to defend his theories on Iraq. Then....the bomb shell.....HE said "what if the 87 billion was used to go into Syria to find the WMD's? I came unglued...I said, bush has no reason to go into Syria other than to back up Sharon who seems to have control over US policies ..and that the issues in Israel were in fact the reason we have terror in the first place.

FOLKS.....THEY ARE GOING TO USE THE 87 BILLION TO EXPAND THE WAR AND GO INTO SYRIA.....OR ANYWHERE ELSE THEY PLEASE....

However, they best be careful - the US does not even have the manpower to go into Syria at this time. Sharon has no fear of starting wider wars which has always been his goal. While I see Bush admin. not pounding Sharon in UN, I do believe they have had harsh words behind the scenes. It is the last thing US needs right now and Bush people know it - they also are beginning to be aware that the press and the people are aware of the neocons and their plans.

While I fear constantly what these jerks may do next, I do see some hope for change
