Sherman is a 20-year-old Black anarchist who hosted the website Raisethefist.com. He is now serving a one-year term in federal prison, in a case that Counterpunch magazine called “a case study in post-9/11 judicial railroading.” Josh’s home was invaded by FBI agents last month and he was accused, on the basis of no evidence, of setting fire to Hummers at a dealership. Due to the overwhelming support he received, he was released but the FBI claims that he is still a suspect.
