Your State Fucking Sucks, Dude!

by You Suck Wednesday, Oct. 08, 2003 at 10:03 PM

Your State Fucking Sucks, Dude!

I have to say that all our negative stereotypes of Californians were
fulfilled tonight. Your state fucking sucks! I guess this is what we all
feel about George W. Bush, but you guys have TWO assholes to try
to explain to confounded foreigners.

Well, at least you can recall him when he sticks his neck out for
Enron. I figure you guys can probably can him by the end of
next year.

and you are from where?

by Alex Wednesday, Oct. 08, 2003 at 10:54 PM

Nah, dude, YOU suck. Where you from, Louisiana?

I grew up in a state where you can't buy liquor on Sunday, where they'll arrest you if you're walking home drunk from a bar, where they'll prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law for smoking ditchweed.

"you guys have TWO assholes to try
to explain to confounded foreigners. "

Yes, well, lucky for me most of the foreigners I deal with are Austrians, just like Arnie. I even thought of voting for him just so I could tell them I did. But I voted for Angelyne instead.

"I figure you guys can probably can him by the end of
next year."

That's what we figure too.

No, YOUR state sucks

clf@freethegoldenstate.org

Yeah, like he said previously, where the hell are you from?

I was in several states recently where ONE AFTER THE OTHER we couldn't buy alcohal after 9 pm or on Sundays AT ALL, possession of ANY pot was a fellony, and chances were the governor would personally lynch you for speeding.

For all of California's faults (no pun intended) I can't think of any other state with as many socially and environmentally progressive laws, opportunities for direct democracy (and if that doesn't work, direct ACTION), bomb and socially acceptable weed, and (more recently) political participation - not to mention incredibly diverse and unparallelled Human, Cultural, and Natural BEAUTY.

What do you have, the French Quarter and a swamp?

The point is made

by inkling Thursday, Oct. 09, 2003 at 6:42 AM

The point stands that a great many Californians, like the great many Americans who support the resident, are complete fucking morons. Sure, Gray Davis is a chump, but Arnold Schwarzenegger??? Are good old-fashioned conservatives really thinking this guy is going to do a good job?

This is final proof that we, as Americans, now live in the biggest, most powerful JOKE in the world.

The Axis of Corporate Evil

by Enlighten the Truth Thursday, Oct. 09, 2003 at 6:54 AM

In what appears to be an attempted corporate takeover of America, the same names keep coming up time and again. Click on the numbers on the chart or scroll down to see the connections.

Note: This chart does not touch on campaign spending. Bush/Cheney represent the State Department. Many of the seeds of this evil axis were sown during the Bush, Sr. and Clinton administrations.

Someone hear something?

by Axel Thursday, Oct. 09, 2003 at 7:12 AM

Some disappointed leftist howling at the moon? Yeah, I thought I heard it too. Pay no attention, even though it probably won't go away soon.

What about the Rosicrucians, Methodists, and worshippers of Dagon? Aren't they cool enough to be listed?

Embarrassing Catastrophe

by Meyer London Thursday, Oct. 09, 2003 at 7:23 AM

Please don't blame the entire state for the election of Schwartzengroper. Aside from the fact that many people don't or can't vote here, a majority of the people who did vote voted against the sex offender/Nazi. And, in all fairness, it must be pointed out that many of the most infamous Californians of the 20th century came here from other states. They include Charles Manson(born in Cincinnati), Ronnie Reagan (from Ilinois), Pete Wilson (from St. Louis), and Schwartzengroper himself (from Austria). Nixon was from here, but even in his case it should be remembered that his totally screwed up father, who apparantly passed on his behavior patterns to Dickie boy, came here as an adult from Columbus, Ohio.

Davis is OUT!

by goner Thursday, Oct. 09, 2003 at 7:32 AM

There is one main reason Davis got the boot: The people were angry and fed-up with unchecked liberalism.

All the money Californian's produce and the infrastructure is falling apart. It was more important to give money to labor-unions and political cronies than it was to do the people's business.

Davis said the deficit was going to be around $8 billion, and it turned out after the election it was more like $25-$35 billion, AND HE KNEW IT DURING THE CAMPAIGN! He just wanted to be elected.

The people voted their wallets, and unchecked liberalism was robbing them blind. Yesterday, they gave unchecked liberalism the boot.

Bush admirer is wrong

by Mike Friday, Oct. 10, 2003 at 3:03 PM
Eugenerain@yahoo.com

64% of voters chose one of the two Republicans (mostly the more "moderate" of the two)
60% of registered voters voted
Something like 60% of eligible voters are registered
And, then there is a percentage of those Californians that cannot vote.
So, that leave around 25% or so of all Californians that actually voted for a Republican at all. Wow, what a mandate!

The only thing Republicans are good at cleaning are the state coffers.

by yowza Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003 at 3:42 AM

For the past 5 years, California has had a Democratic governor, Democratic controlled senate and house, all the major cities and counties are run by Democrats, but with a $40 billion dollar deficit, it's the Republicans that robbed the coffers.

The above statement is considered "logic" only on Indymedia.
