GREEN DEMO THURS. TO KEEP PETER CAMEJO IN THE DEBATES!

TO KEEP PETER CAMEJO IN THE DEBATES SUPPORTERS TO PROTEST AT LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS DEBATE OCT. 2 IN WEST LA.

WE NEED TO KEEP PETER CAMEJO IN THE DEBATES!

If Peter continues to be shut out of the remaining debates we need to show up
and let them know that we are keeping the ground that we’ve made, and we will
never go back to the way it was.

And we need everyone to go to votecamejo.org and send emails demanding that
Peter Camejo and the Green Party be included in the debates.

So far, 1,177 people have emailed the LWV and 962 have emailed the media.

This is tremendous! Let’s keep the pressure on!

Then, mark your calendar for Thurs. Oct. 2 and Saturday Oct. 4, and join us as
we protest this outrageous exclusion from the democratic process. We hope that
our national letter writing campaign will persuade the debate sponsors to
re-open the debates to Peter. If not:

On Thurs October 2nd, join us to protest the major televised debate sponsored
by NBC4, the California League of Women Voters, Cable LA 36, and the LA Chamber
of Commerce. The debate is scheduled to take place live from the Museum of
Tolerance in Los Angeles from 5-6 pm.

On Sat October 4th, protest the last televised debate - sponsored by LWV of San
Diego County, the San Diego Union-Tribune, KPBS-TV, and San Diego University.
The debate is scheduled to take place on campus at the KPBS studio and
broadcast live at 5pm.

A CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are needed to set up phone banks, form groups to display banners and
signs at major intersections, and help mobilize for our protests in Los Angeles
on Thurs Oct 2 and in San Diego on Sat Oct 4.

I can email:
-a flier announcing the protests which can be copied and distributed.
-sections from the voter registration list which I can divide up by area code.

If you are interested in being part of the banner display, I can arrange to get
a banner to your group.

Anyone able to help hand out Oct 2 fliers at the march in Hollywood on Sun.
9/28 can pick up fliers and other literature between 9a – 11a before the march
at 7057 Lanewood Ave. #306, Hollywood (cross street La Brea 1 blk N of Sunset)

If you have time to give in the next ten days, please contact me. Thanks.

PETER IN SO CAL

Let's keep moving forward. We can go along way in ten days. Thanks so much to
all who have already volunteered their time and talents!
