Increasingly immigrant families expecting greencards get deported instead. To protest against this disturbing trend Families for Freedom held a Rally this past Sunday at Immigration Headquarters, 26 Federal Plaza highlighting two recent cases of the many that are being subject to rapid
fire deportations without any due process.
Mexican Immigrant Workers Organize
Despite overwhelming odds, Mexican immigrant workers are organizing in New York City and across the country. Their most recent campaign here is among workers in corner laundries and dry cleaners. Jerry Dominguez, Director of NYC's Mexican Workers Association tells us more.
