Another Future is Necessary! Let us take the Cancun victory forward and win battle to end 4WW before hegemonic policies of the US-EU Empire kill more millions everywhere. WTO, FTAA-ALCA-NAFTA disbanded, replaced with open forum to address many problems faced everyday by most people:

CANCEL THE MIAMI FTAA-ALCA NOW
by Los Jaguaringos de Cancun Libre
ANNOUNCE THE CARNIVAL AND CANCEL THE FARCE:
We Need To Have A Real Meeting to Mobilize Civil and Uncivil Society
DEAR LATIN AMERICAN NATIONS AND THOSE OF THE CARIBBEAN:
CANCEL THE MIAMI FTAA, END THE FARCE, AND ISOLATE THE US IN ITS OWN SHIT!
Cancun was a great victory for all those opposed to the Fourth World War (4WW), a war waged relentlessly across the globe by a few million lovers of greed in the US-EU Empire, a war waged against the rest of the worlds billions and its ENDANGERED natural world.
On September 12, 2003, a group of internationalists dropped a huge banner from atop a 300 foot high construction crane above the WTO convention centre in Cancun. We said Que Se Vayan Todos - They Should All Go. A few days later the Kenyan delegation had had enough of the US-EU arrogance and with the support of most of the poor countries of the world and most NGOs they walked out of the WTO, ending this farcical meeting.

As we said at the time of our banner drop: WE just know that the WTO is not concerned with world trade, but with world slavery. The same goes for the ALCA - FTAA free trade zone of the Americas. We have risked our lives in solidarity with those whose lives are at risk and we will continue to do so, in Mexico City, in Miami and in Europe.

The Problems Inherent to Capitalism and Social Exclusion. Until then the struggle continues.
Hold high the symbols of the Corn Plant and the Red Fist. The Corn symbolizes the importance of farmers, the need for assured water supplies and to ban Genetically Modified Frankenstein Foods (GMOs) to protect our future food security.
The Red Fist symbolizes demands for dignity for all indigenous people and the workers, all of whom have their culture and livelihoods threatened with colonization by global corporations.
Instead of a Corporate, Colonial, Imperialist Surrender Treaty (ALCA) or farcical debates in Miami - The World Needs a real meeting of equals in Caracas or Buenos Aires or Port au Prince to agree on how to move forward with new priorities of regional integration, the economics of the local, and education for a solidarity economy. How to survive the imminent backlash of the US-EU Empire should also be on any agenda.
To Miami We Must Take Our Message and Break Through the Corporate Media Shields
We are planning new occupations and daring aerial actions before and during the Miami FTAA conference. We join the screams of millions who identify with the Korean farmer activist who died in Cancun to protest the WTO and its genocidal agriculture policies. Our lives will be hanging on the line - literally on a long rope - and we ask for your support and your presence so that we can make these actions as big and as safe as possible.
Either way, here we go!
We cannot sit at home while the rich wage economic war on the majority of the people on earth –

MEXICO Y Internationalistas

A key learning and growing experience in Cancun, Mexico at the WTO-OMC Meet was the vulnerability to Mexican students and activists from massive police oppression. We call for the formation of two new organizations to offer solidarity and sacrifice with Mexican activists:

1. An Emergency Response Network to respond quickly to any crisis, attacks or needs of Mexican activists. This would include travelling quickly to hot spots in Mexico and rapidly organizing a major response within the US and other countries.

2. A Mexican Mobilization Pledge: to mobilize large numbers of US and other citizens to travel to Mexico to offer support and protection to activists there for planned large demonstrations.

Please contact Ecosolidarity@yahoo.com to participate or fund these groups.
