Lets address your repeated "chaining proxies" statement, because Im sick of hearing it. I have been ignoring your stupid baiting, because I didnt really feel that discussing proxies and all the technical explanations would be productive. After all, you have proven that you cant even tell one network from another given an IP address, and you dont learn from your mistakes...so you repeat them over over and OVER. Before I start, I want to remind you of WHY people chain proxies or even use a proxy in the first place:

1.) Anonymity (or PERCIEVED) anonymity. People think they can "chain proxies" in such a way that a given data packet passes through an intermediary client called a "proxy", and supposedly hides the source. It doesnt, but that's what people think they do.

2.) In the OLD DAYS, before there were efficient little firewall/routers like we have now, a proxy server was a "buffer zone" which acted as a rudimentary firewall. Passing data requests through the proxy ensured that there was no direct connection on the network session layer (you have to know the OCI model....I dont have time to school you).

3.) The proxy server can perform many pre and post processing functions such as encryption, transposition, and could act as a "liason" between dissimilar networks (such as UNIX to Apple, or Windows to Linux). Again....they served a useful purpose MANY YEARS AGO. Today, they are mainly used for anonymity.....(snicker).

Now, I bet you have some long drawn out, over-complicated method (much like everything you post) to do it, like configuring your SOCKS 4 or 5 server, and using WinGate (why go through the trouble?), OR, you could simply purchase a product called SocksChain which costs about $50, and provides an easy interface to chain as many proxies as you wish (more than just 6).


Here is the easiest way to do it (Internet Explorer is assumed as the browser). Anyone reading this could do it:

There are 2 main types of proxies. HTTP and SOCKS (uses the ports 8080 and 1080). HTTP proxies are for use with your browser. SOCK proxies can be used with http, ftp, telnet, nntp and common chat protocols. In Internet Explorer: goto Tools, Internet options, Connections, Settings. In the "Proxy Server" category, you will place all of your addresses (ip's). You will need to put in the server address, a colon " : ", then the port number. Then place as many proxies as you wish in the server text box, leaving a space between each one. Now, the last address that you have in your server text box will have a port number. That port number goes in the proper port number box just to the right.

SATISFIED? (Please allow time to digest, and stay out of the park fountains for at least 20 minutes).

Back to KOBE....you have failed to show the slightest level of competency on ANY level, in regards to computers, command of the English language, cognitive processes.....you are DAMAGED, Hex. I grow bored with you and your blathering posts.

At some point, you invited yourself into a pissing match DeVoy and I were having, and tried to sno your way in with your "tech geek" front. You werent prepared for me at all, now were you. You thought you were dealing with two children, playing the dozens, huh?

I am totally 100% against everything Stephen DeVoy stands for, but I have respect for the fact that he is a college graduate (4 years), with a graduate degree (2 more years). I am also a college graduate with a graduate degree. You are nothing but a high school dropout. Perhaps this little conflict we are having seems juvenile, but it is rooted in very deep political convictions and a passion for what we believe in.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger has surged past Democrats' recall replacement candidate, Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante, to become Democratic Gov. Gray Davis' chief rival, according to a poll released today.

The Public Policy Institute of California survey, like earlier independent statewide polls by other organizations, found a majority of likely voters continue to support the ouster of Davis in the Oct. 7 recall election.

Schwarzenegger, who trailed Bustamante in a Field Poll last week, won support from 23 percent of likely voters -- compared with Bustamante's 18 percent -- in the PPIC poll. The Field Poll indicated Bustamante was leading Schwarzenegger, 25 percent to 22 percent.

In the new PPIC survey that was wrapped up Sunday, the liberal Bay Area was the only region of California to buck the lean toward Schwarzenegger, with 27 percent of likely voters going instead for Bustamante, compared with 15 percent for Schwarzenegger.

The state's other Democratic stronghold, Los Angeles, outpaced the statewide average in its support for the GOP actor, who made his name in Hollywood and who lives there.

Statewide, Schwarzenegger drew 38 percent of the Republican vote, 12 percent of the Democratic vote, and 17 percent of the independent vote.

Bustamante attracted 34 percent of the Democratic vote, just 2 percent of the GOP vote and 14 percent of the independent vote.

A somewhat higher percentage of Latino voters favor Bustamante to Schwarzenegger (27 percent to 19 percent).

Overall, the San Francisco-based institute's poll reflected a new depth of pessimism in California and 58 percent of likely voters supporting the recall of Davis.


GOOD! Being a California resident, it is encouraging to see a candidate who is openly opposed to illegal immigration and special interest based politics pull ahead. I feel that McClintock's "old school" GOP politics os out of date, and out of step with the majority of Californians. Just do a search on this IMC using the search, and you will find me. At least Stephen DeVoy's posts are of a political nature, but you just post garbage about Kobe and a bunch of ugly pictures. If you plan to do somthing to them just do it. We dont want to see you trying to convince yourself. That's ironic given that then and now my web presence has never declined, and has in fact increased. I have a thriving blog, and don't hide my identity. What the poster seems to have been referring to was the actions of trolls who would take on a real person's identity, then embroil them in the controversy, while the other trolls would attack the innicent victim. During the time of this incident I discovered several attempts to goad both sides, falsely using my name. I wasn't the only person this was done to.
