EMERGENCY TOWN HALL MEETING

"Neighbors for Peace and Justice" (NPJ) of the San Fernando Valley are holding a mass public meeting to discuss the future of local protests against Bush's war in Iraq.

The zone of NPJ influence and activity is from Van Nuys to Burbank, focusing on Sherman Oaks,
Valley Village, Studio City, North Hollywood and
Toluca Lake. Ever since before the war broke out, NPJ has been holding weekly public anti-war vigils. These vigils are STILL occuring on a weekly basis.

JOIN IN A DISCUSSION ABOUT THE DIRECTION THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION IS TAKING OUR COUNTRY, and how we can have an impact in bringing an end to war and repression.

Are we being told the truth?
It's your money - where is it going?
50 ways to leave Iraq - how do we get out?
Don't wait for Congress - we're it!

Where: Unitarian Universalist Church of Studio City*
12355 Moorpark Street
(between Laurel Canyon & Whitsett)
When: Tuesday, September 23, at 7 p.m.

Come to an open discussion about the very serious
implications of George Bush's national address on
Sunday, September 7. He made it official: THIS
COUNTRY IS NOW LOCKED INTO AN OPEN-ENDED CONFLICT IN THE MIDDLE EAST. The real war starts NOW. The price tag is an additional 87 BILLION for this year alone.

... also, please join the NPJ weekly peace vigils:
