The Salvadoran military passes by a banner that reads: 'Happy Independence Day' during a military parade as part of celebrations of the 182nd anniversary of Central American Independence day, September 15, 2003.
Happy Independence Day... NOW GET BACK TO WORK growing coffee for the U.S. Remember... we like our coffee sweet.

Hmmmm, I had no idea that the fine people of El Salvador were growing all that coffee for us for free.
Thanks.

Terrible poverty there, I know about this, I've been there. Entire families, from young, big enough to carry a basket to the oldest available to work, going to the plantations in the morning to earn just money to buy food they would have been able to grow themselves if they had not been driven off of their land. No time for school if there were any, no land, no hope; clinging to survival. Sure, they get paid. Starvation wages.

Terrible poverty. Entire families from the youngest to the elderly working in the plantations from sun-up to sun-down to eek out just enough to eat. No land to call your own. No hope. Clinging to survival.
I can't wait until you left-wingers/anarchist take over so the whole world can live like these people described above. We can all be equally as miserable as everyone else. Won't that be great!

"earn just money to buy food they would have been able to grow themselves if they had not been driven off of their land. "
And in your adolescent system of economics and society, these poor oppressed people would have been able to grow shoes and clothing and fuel and books as well on their farms if only they hadn't been "driven off" their land and given a job, right?
