Choose, America WAR or PEACE.
Kucinich is the man of peace.
PHOTOS & COMMENTARY
Meeting presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich in So. Cal.
dennisspeech-oc1.jpg, image/jpeg, 800x523
Subj: Just met Dennis in Orange County, CA Dennis was great. He's a very passionate, motivated and energetic speaker who has the clear conviction of morality on his side. I believe that this next presidential election can be described as a clear choice between war and peace. Bush (and most of the Democratic challengers) = WAR. Kucinich = PEACE. Dennis has a warm, friendly personality and a sharp intellect. Definitely see what the man has to say at http://kucinich.us.

As far as Howard Dean goes, he will NOT bring us peace in my estimation. When Howard Dean makes statesments such as the following list, it indicates to me that he is just another wolf in sheep's clothing: Howard Dean: "...Iraq is an imminent threat to the nations in the region, but he doesn't happen to be an imminent threat to the United States." -Howard Dean,David Corn Interview, Radio Nation, March12, 2003 Clearly untrue. Iraq after two wars, a devastated infrastructure, and 12 years of medieval styled sanctions was in no, way shape or form an "imminent threat" to even the nations of the region. The neighbors of Iraq stood against authorizing the use of force. Howard Dean: "You know, the person I admire the most -- even though I disagree with his conclusions -- is Joe Lieberman, because Joe Lieberman said from the outset that he was a hawk. He believed we should go into Iraq now. That they were a present danger, and that he supports the president's unilateral war." -Dean, same interview This is something to "admire?" On national radio? As an alleged "anti-war candidate?" This man is a fraud. Lieberman should be kicked out of the Democratic party as being a non-Democrat. And Dean "admires" him. Howard Dean: "I think North Korea's likely to go nuclear on this president's watch and we are fighting the wrong war at the wrong time." -Dean, same interview So ... we should be bombing North Korea, Howard? Which war should we be fighting exactly? And why? And do you have better evidence for this new war than Bush and Cheney managed to manufacture over Iraq? Howard Dean: "But Joe (Lieberman) has stood up for his convictions everywhere even when it was not popular to do so." -Dean, same interview So did Adolph Hitler. So what? Lieberman's "convictions" are the problem, and the reason the Democrats in congress voted King Chimp unlimited warmongering authority. Obviously these "convictions" aren't a problem in the eyes of Howard Dean. Dean has not questioned the rationale of the alleged "War on Terror" and cites the term several times in his interview. Dean Interview Audio http://www.nationinstitute.org/radionation/ DEAN ADMITS HE LIED AT THE AFL-CIO DEBATE Newsday article: "Dean says he misspoke at AFL-CIO debate" http://tinyurl.com/j9ej (See the debate through C-Span: http://www.c-span.org/) Dean "misspoke." When I ms-speak, they say I'm lying. I guess Dean has been annointed by the press as the new golden boy. The liar. If he's already lying to the world, folks, what makes you think he's going to tell you the truth as president of the United States? I've had it up to here with lying scum. Another Dean Lie I just discovered: PBS Newshour Online, 2/25/03 http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/politics/jan-june03/dean_2-25.html "FMR. GOV. HOWARD DEAN: What they voted for was to allow the president of the United States to attack Iraq unilaterally without going back to Congress. So the four folks that I'm running against who are from Congress all voted to give the president that power. The objection that I have... the greatest objection is for the folks that voted for it and then went to Iowa and California and pretended they are against the war. That doesn't wash. We're not going to elect a president of the United States but nominating somebody who says one thing and does something else, and appears to be willing to say whatever it takes to become president. " Mr. Dean: You are running against Dennis Kucinich. Dennis Kucinich is "from Congress." Dennis Kucinich did NOT vote to give the president that power. Therefore, Dean, you are a liar. And it appears that you are "willing to say whatever it takes to become president." Another article: Howard Dean, Hawk in Dove's Cloting? http://www.commondreams.org/views03/0226-04.htm

I find it interesting that your photographer excluded the anti-Loretta Sanchez-Brixley protesters that showed up that day. Too bad the mainstream press couldn't edit us out of the shots!
We were there because she helped put the INS in the Anaheim Police Department, which has resulted in deportations and broken families. She refuses to acknowledge her role in it, but it is documented in congressional records. So much for her whole "I'm for the people" garbage...
I don't understand why Kucinich would work with a lying phony like Sanchez.

you guys really pissed a lot of people off.
that being said, i have no problem with what you did. i question your judgement, as we do need an ins down here (can't send everyone to la that has a proven record of illeagal collusion with the police) , but i also understand your fears the ins in anahiem could be an evil presence.
all that is irrelavent to weather or not you should be proud of what you did. i think you should. loretta is pretty progressive, but if we can't challenge our leaders, then all of this talk we do is indeed only talk. and, i hate to disappoint you, but many of the kucinich people felt the same way. believe it or not, more folks than not supported you. except for that ass hole that just aimed his middle finger at dennis the whole time. you are just a dick, and i wouldnt want you aligned with me politicaly anyway. but, to all the rest: good job and keep it up. how about we do something together when howrd dean comes to town?

Durring the meet the press interview he was asked by Tim Russert what cuts would you make to reduce the deficate and balance the budget ? and then Tim asked him directly would you cut defense? he said no, and he did not mention cutting defense at all. Dennis K. is the only canadite I've heard mention cutting all the pork at the pentagon although I have no idea how he would accomplish this and stand up to that racket. Dean is definatley a DLC centrist canadate proabably more to the right then clinton. Which is proabably why he is the media's choice.

well, d.k. took down one of newt's luitenants in 1996 in a 52% republican district. in 2004, when democrats were getting thier asses handed to them across the country, dennis won with over 74% of the vote.
you just don't get that without a few republicans voting for you.
tell you what: he may be a longshot to win the dem nod but if he doues he'll kick bush's ass, too.

...to not vote for Dean.
However, I miss the logic that says I should then vote for DK. If A is an SOB, that is not sufficient reason to vote for B.
Another point: if DK is "the man of peace", how does he intend to protect our country and its interests while cutting defense?
Is he really the "man of appeasement"? Will he sell out our security to appease the threats to us? Sure, that works...just ask France, both 50 years ago with the Germans, and now with the Muslims.
Think I'll pass on DK.

I agree that Dean's not liberal. He never said he was. But by taking him out of context on this page, you are doing yourself a disservice.
I support Kucinich, but I don't support baching other candidates with midleading statements.
Regarding Lieberman, Dean was speaking about how many candidates, like Wes Clark, have changed their mind on the Iraq issue a dozen times during the course of the campaign. He said that only himself and Kucinich and Lieberman have stuck with their original convictions. He was pointing out that Lieberman's integrity was admirable... no his position.
Regarding the confederate flag. Dean said that he wanted the votes of people who put confederate flags in their car. It was a statement about how the Republicans have misled the people in the South, tricking them into voting in candidates that enforce poor education and poverty. And Dean was talking about changing that.
And the rest of your statements are rather similar. You can hurt a candidate by taking stuff out of context. But you really hurt yourself when you engage in this sort of behavior.
Dean supports the NRA. How about that? That's an issue that's true and is something you can safely blast him on without making crap up!
