RAISETHEFIST.COM IN NEED OF NEW HOST!
Our host (TTLhost.com) just recently shut down and pull all of their servers and equipment out of XO Communications datacenter in Irvine, CA.
Our dedicated server for Raisethefist.com was being hosted on the backbone of this datacenter. Luckly we were able to pick up our server from the datacenter before everything was erased.
Now that we have our server, we need a place to host it.
- RTF NEEDS A LOCATION TO HOUSE A SERVER (somewhere around Southern California) FOR THE WEB SITE (A GARAGE, INFOSHOPPE, SPACE, OFFICE, ETC.). ANYWHERE WHERE WE CAN HOOK THE SERVER UP TO A LINE, OR INSTALL A SEPARATE LINE.
- OR WE NEED A HOST WHO IS WILLING TO PROVIDE US WITH ENOUGH SERVER SPACE AND CPU REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO RUN THE SITE.
We already have a dedicated server, so if you have a hosting service and/or know of any hosting service that would allow us to host our dedicated server off their line, please contact runawayslave@outgun.com
This is an urgent call for help to anyone who can provide any assistance.
If you can help and/or have any suggestions/questions please email runawayslave@outgun.com or email the RTF Direct Action Network at rtfchapters@lists.riseup.net
AIM Contact: KeepFistRaised
(note: raisethefist.com was not pulled from our host due to it's content. our host decided to discontinue and pulled ALL of their servers out of XO. Raisethefist.com was hosted out of XO for the past 3 months despite phone calls from the feds who asked to get into our box)

I checked the web site a couple of days ago and noticed that it was gone. Of course I immediately thought that it was down due to the growing fascism in America under the Bush regime.
I'm glad to see that it wasn't taken down due to the oppression of this regime and that the web site will almost certainly come back online.
I don't agree with most of what Raise The Fist stands for -- I think the owners and operators as well as the authors of the web's content are a buch of frucking idiots who need to be taught some lessons about politics and economic, but I'm most certainly in favor of their right to freedom of speech and I would love to see somebody step forward and host the web site.
One thing that would probably be good would be for a web host based outside of the United States to step forward and host the site. Given the fact that oppression and fascism is growing in America at the same time that liberty, Constitutional rights, and Civil rights are being nullified in America, hosting outside of the Unted States would preempt actions by the fascists that can be expected in the very near future.
Rock on, Raise The Fist! You're a bunch of stupid mother fuckers who don't have a clue, but I support your First Ammendment rights to express you fucking stupidity 100%.

The fact is that Sherman Austin is probably getting his ass busted in JAIL. His site was being hosted from his home, on a DSL connection. He wont be getting a new host.

The First ammendment clearly states you have the right to free speech (local calls only) as long as you pay your phone bill on time.
Can't/won't pay for webhosting??? t hen sorry the first ammendment does not give you the right to free webhosting.
Raise the fist? Looks like TTLhost.com just had to "Raise A Finger" and got you shut down.....

The removal of RTF from the net isn't yet a First Ammendment issue since it went with a lot of other commercial and non-commercial web sites, according to report. Had it been pulled by the fascists, it would have been a First Ammendment issue.
As to the notion that RTF isn't coming back, that's highly unlikely. The Earth Liberation Front and the Animal Liberation Front manage to survive quite well, even in this fascist regime, as does No Compromise and, well, even IndyMedia.

The fact that _any_ anti-corporate abuse web sites manage to exist is surprising in itself given George Bush's rise to power. If ELF, ALF, IndyMedia, BushWatch et al. web sites manage to surprise so far, RTF should be able to.

Old Shermie is going to be a host allright. First, he will be hosting Bubba, then Jerome, then Ozzie, then Javier, Humberto, Then Spooky, then....
RaistTheFist was being hosted by Shermie's home server. Talk what you know. It wont be coming back anytime soon, and if Sherman is put on Federal probation for his internet activities, he will not be allowed to host the site for at least 18 months, and maybe even banned from all computer activities.
