What this coverage can be best fitted into is the Jigsaw Puzzle of actions being taken in the major media to spin away and cover-up Bush's monumental lies.

Read between the lines. This show is intended to distract, divert, and to be able to show something that says "see we are accomplishing something".

And they are accomplishing something: There are more dead bodies every day.

The Pentagon can crow all it wants about the killing of Uday and Qusay (trial? who needs a trial?). The corporate press can gloat all it wants. Bush can try and distract everyone with this "victory"... but the fact remains, American Soldiers are DYING everyday in Iraq. The day after Saddam's Sons were killed, THREE U.S. Soldiers were killed.

Bush LIED in order to get Americans to support this damned war... and now we are entangled in a classic guerrilla conflict in an occupied Arab nation. Killing Saddam will not defeat the guerrillas because they are not fighting for him... they are fighting for their country and many are fighting for Islam.

How many young G.I.s will die in this protracted guerrilla war? How many innocent Iraqis will fall victim? Can you hear the echoes of Vietnam?

Those of us who are old enough to remember the end of the Vietnam War in the 1970's would have been dumbfounded back then if someone with the ability to see the future had told us that twenty years later the US would find itself bogged down in another hopeless gurerilla war on the Asian continent. It took something like 9/11 to bring about that sea change. That doesn't prove that Bush knew, but it sure makes one wonder.
