The reality is that the software which is used by LA Indymedia is FREE, and can be run on any Linux webserver using Apache 1.2 (both are FREE as well). LA Indymedia has tried to use the arrogant concept that they somehow have a reign on Open Publishing here in Los Angeles, but they dont. There is NO "tribunal" or "Principles of Unity" which will stop anyone from opening up their own IMC.

Once open, there is nothing LA IMC can do to govern any other IMC which opens here in Los Angeles. There is no set of rules and no license which controls webmasters of IMCs. There is a NEW Indymedia site on the horizon here in Los Angeles....its coming soon.
