That's right! Los Angeles may see a Gulf of Mexico-originated Hurricane! You heard it here first! Perhaps by Friday Evening!

Following Hurricane Claudette's path along the Tex-Mex border, it appears the storm is gathering strength. It continues to spin quickly and move at speeds in excess of 25mph! It is but a half day from the Gulf of California. Tropical moisture is feeding the storm and it has doubled in size in the last few hours. The center is stil well organized.

See these for proof!
