In response to the disgraceful comments made by Newport Beach City Councilman Richard Nichols regarding Mexicans, there will be a Reclaim Newport Beach/Anti-Racist Beach Party on Saturday, July 12, 2003 at Corona Del Mar State Beach, in protest of racism and bigotry.

This is important because there is a climate of racism in Newport Beach that needs to be addressed. All people that hate racism are invited to enjoy some delicious food, and be as Mexican (or ethnic) as you wanna be, without fear of repression.
When: Saturday, July 12, 2003, beginning at 10 AM
