Over 1 Million Sigs to Recall Gov

by Yippee Wednesday, Jul. 02, 2003 at 12:28 AM

On this day, 6/30/03, that Green Party candidate for governor, Pete Camejo, announced his intention to run on the recall ballot for governor, there are 1,074,430 signatures for the Recall, enough to qualify if most are valid.

On this day, 6/30/03, that Green Party candidate for governor, Pete Camejo, announced his intention to run on the recall ballot for governor, there are 1,074,430 signatures for the Recall, enough to qualify if most are valid.

The best reasons for the recall are that this worst governor in California's history, good Democrat Gray Davis, supports:

(1) Private power instead of public power, including a huge bailout of bankrupt PG&E at taxpayer expense;

and

(2) The death penalty and the prison-industrial complex, and wants millions of dollars spent on a death camp at San Quentin.

If you support public power and oppose the death penalty and prisons, you should sign and vote for the recall. If you do not like the candidates running to replace Davis, you do not have to vot e for any of them. You can rest assured that all the Republicans and all the Democrats who might run will be the same as Gray Davis.

All aboard the recall train!

How much is this recall going to cost California?
