Take Back America speech, on WMD and more // 1.3megs, 5.5 minutes // Washington DC, June, 2003
listen
to the report (sound: mp3 @ 1.3 megs)
Dennis Kucinich was one of the speakers at the Take
Back America conference. His speech (or most of it) was replayed on
Pacifica's Peace
Watch program. Here it is, edited out.
Incidentally, Bill Moyers gave the keynote at the conference, and if you want
to hear it, click here.

Kucinich - what a complete ass!
Of course he has zero chance to win the Democratic nomination. He's about like Howard Dean and Al Sharpton in that regard.
The Democrats are really hurting for candidates and GWB remains very very popular.

Kucinich doesn't get the nomination because he would literally kick the living crap out of Bush. Bush can't even construct sentences in correct grammatical order when it comes to unscripted presentations. Kucinich is a man of intense passion and smarts.
Now, the real challenge is to get the Democrats to realize that it's time for a full, 100% "New Deal" and full change to the progressive side -- or totally hijacking the party from them -- or a little of both. But if the Democrats really wanted to win the presidency, there is no more sure way of doing it than selecting Kucinich because the more average Americans hear Kucinich speak, the more they will like him. It's that simple.
You, BA, are not an average American given the positions you hold. About 20% of the nation is hard-core supports of the ideas of Bush and co. That's it. The 60% approval ratings are thin and surface-based, not a reflection of the issues -- issue per issue.
You see (and I'm speaking to others, not you, BA dip shit), if Kucinich was selected, the corporate media couldn't censor him. He'd have to get some degree of coverage. And what Kucinich says is too powerful ... it would resonate with the average American.
So, to the conventional wisdom that says Kucinich isn't electable, I say B U L L S H I T !
And all you folks trying to get General Clark to run, go get him to be a VP running mate with Kucinich

Kucinich is definitely not electable. What he says resonates only with left wing radicals. He sickens most Americans with his tax and spend rhetoric. He wants to confiscate my money and give it away. That's about the only thing he ever proposes to do --> buying votes for him and his with my confiscated tax monies.
Kucinich is not smart, not at all. Bush is a relative genius. Kucinich is trying hard to break into my 'world's dumbest man' list. He's being held off by Noam Chomsky, Gore Vidal, Ralph Nader, Alan Dershowitz, and Dick Gephart who only recently weasled his way onto the list. These five will not easily be dislodged.
Nothing Kucinich says would resonate with the majority of Americans -- nothing, nada, zip.
You guys like him because you relate to him -- he's a loser too.
