View article without comments Beware of websites with malicious scripts.by Miguel Bernwood Saturday, Jun. 28, 2003 at 6:49 PMOnline activists beware, many website contain Active X controls, Visual basic and java "scripts designed to attack you computer and steal any personal information. I will cite the www.kobehq.com website and particularly the forum which have embedded scripts in the page and "server side" that will damage a computer accessing the site. In the forum you may recieve a message indicating
a stack overload. This is used to open a vulnerability to your machine. Avoid the kobe forum and use a good anti-virus. If you have to check put the kobe website, disable java and active x. But just skip the kobehq.com website and be on the look out for other "freeper fronts". As we saw this week Utah senator Orin Hatch advocates on behalf of corporate interests destroying the computers of music downloaders.

I wonder why KOBE would want to distract away from the fact that his scripts install trojan horses on visitor's machines, ferry personal information to him, and allow him to use his victims machines as relays for illegal net activities?
