Long Beach Food not Bombs is back...

Greetings.. Long Beach FOOD NOT BOMBS is in the process of reforming with mostly new people and new organizing methods. We will not be renting out a space this time- but cooking in peoples homes. We hope to work with and promote Food Not Bombs with other food not bombs in southern california and local groups such as the Long Beach City and Cal State Long Beach Campus Progressives, the local greens, the LB Community Gardens, the news Koos venue relocating to long beach, and other progressive groups in long beach.

our primary goals:

#1 provide vegetarian food for free to the community

#2 outreach, creating friendships/bonds and teaching skills to primarily young people within the community.

#3 establish a committed long term food not bombs with a solid well organized foundation with people who live in long beach.

#4 benefit concerts, etc ... communal gatherings- alternatives to corporate "hang outs" such as malls.
