My my, aren't you spooks curious.

by Sheepdog Saturday, May. 03, 2003 at 10:52 AM

Do you trust these people? I mean would you put your future in their hands? You might want to think about your supermarket cards, credit cards, and ATM cards. The 4th amendment is dying

There seem in my view that certain schools of thought
exist about private information.
Particularly on this website.
.
This subject seems to draw a lot of fire, so I’m posting a platform to address the issues of anonymous posts, votes and sources.
Do you find that with all the heightened security, you still don’t feel safe
anymore?
Sure, register your ID, don’t worry; we want to help you; we’re
the government.
Gee whizz folk, there seems to be some confusion whether or not
I have had the pleasure of knowing that the FBI
and the CIA are now in bed together or a sick feeling at the
pit of my stomach.
Now with the moaning of pleasure and the Champaign bottles
piling up out side the honeymoon suit we (I) wonder if they will last beyond the ‘breaking in’ period.
There is a ‘Do Not Disturb’ tag on the doorknob.
Who knows what is going on in there?
Watch Lists. Are you invited?
We can use the model of the previous attentions of the CIA...
“Providing "Watch Lists" based on technical and human penetration of targeted groups is a
continuing program of CIA covert operators”

by Sheepdog Saturday, May. 03, 2003 at 2:02 PM

We have the pros.....
1. ">I would like to see registered Nicks but the ability for the Identity information
to be compromised is all too real.

Like I said, Diogenes wouldn't go for it. It's the "In my hand I hold a list....."
fear. "I'll cuss you out as long as I can stand behind this wall and you can't
cross over." Brave behind anonymity.

>The Trolls have no reason to oppose it because they work for the people who
would be doing the snooping and harassing.

I don't WORK for people who snoop around, dumbass. I'm a one person
company. Most of the "shills" you keep claiming are paid to come here and
hassle you are average joe's like me just ribbing you because your political
philosophy is foolish. Get over this "I'm public enemy #1" syndrome
2.
Sheepdog, you said "the trolls". And I said "We so called trolls". I still don't get
your confusion. In your opinion, I'm a troll, so I grouped myself in that
category for your benefit.

Now maybe you'll extend me the same courtesy and admit you are a liberal.

And I don't know squat about KOBE. Nor do I care. Nor is my name Greg. It's
Eric. But you can call me what you like.

And I certainly won't deny the existence of watch lists. They're real alright.
And our government uses them. But times have changed since the days of
COINTELPRO
3. We" was your word. I can say that because you said "the trolls" AND you've
implied that I was on on multiple occasions. In fact, anyone that expresses
opinion converse to your own, you consider a troll.

But I can't speak for everyone. Just me. Allow me to rephrase:

I, myself, after having been accused on multiple occasions of being a so called
"troll", have no reason to oppose it (registering nicks) because I am not afraid
to put a name behind my words
4. The Trolls have no reason to oppose it because they work for the people who
would be doing the snooping and harassing."

Utter nonsense. We so called "trolls" have no reason to oppose it because we
are not afraid to put a name behind our words. I, for instance, have been
posting behind this name on IMC for years now. I've even gone as far as
posting my home address on here when previously asked. Didn't have even a
single adverse consequence from it, but made a couple of very close "troll"
friends. Even got nessie to send me five bucks in the hopes I'd go away.
Needless to say, it didn't work. But I thanked him for the beer I bought with it.

By registering nicks, you don't have to make anyone attach ANY personal info.
You just prevent all this spam from being generated under other people's
monikers. Then, we all know who's responsible, and we hold that nick
responsible. It's a lot easier to filter through garbage when you know who's
making it."
Sure are a lot of pros...
Here's a con
1. Where's your need to know?

by Sheepdog Sunday, May. 04, 2003 at 5:39 PM

HaHa.
Don’t shit a brick.
Use of "Subversive Control Watch Lists"
As a matter of course, the Agency develops close relationships with security services in
friendly nations and exploits these in many ways-by recruiting unilateral sources to spy on
the home government, by implementing pro-U.S. policies, and by gathering and exchanging
intelligence. As one aspect of those liaisons, the CIA universally compiles local "Subversive
Control Watch Lists" of leftists for attention by the local government. Frequently that
attention is the charter of government death squads....
...In the
late 1980s, the CIA began assisting the Philippine government in the conduct of
"low-intensity" operations by, among other things, computerizing security service records
of leftists and assisting in the development of a national identity card program. Wherever
the CIA cooperates with other national security services it is safe to assume that it also
compiles and passes "Subversive Control Watch Lists."

RIGHTS OF AMERICANS

BOOK III

FINAL REPORT

OF THE

SELECT COMMITTEE
TO STUDY GOVERNMENTAL OPERATIONS

WITH RESPECT TO

INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITIES
UNITED STATES SENATE
DOMESTIC CIA AND FBI MAIL OPENING PROGRAMS

PART I: SUMMARY AND PRINCIPAL CONCLUSIONS
[Read this document. at above link]
...APRIL 23 (under authority of the order of April 14), 1976
All of these mail opening programs were initiated by agency officials acting
without prior authorization from a President, Attorney General, or
Postmaster General....
http://www.icdc.com/~paulwolf/cointelpro/churchfinalreportIIIh.htm
....The legal fears of CIA and FBI officials were firmly based, for sanctity of
the mail
has been a long-established principle in American jurisprudence. Fourth

Amendment restrictions on first class mail opening were recognized as
early as
1878, when the
Supreme Court wrote in Ex Parte Jackson, 96 U.S. 727,733 (1878)....:
... But to defend the national security, they chose to employ a technique
that was neither sanctioned by the
laws nor authorized by the elected leaders of the country they sought to
protect. And since they defined the nature of our enemies, this technique
came to be directed against American dissidents as well as foreigners...
...The Watch List. -- The Watch List originated in the mid-1950's, at which
time it
consisted of only ten to twenty names. With the SR Division, the CI Staff, the Office
of Security, and the FBI all contributing names to the list it grew rapidly, however:
by the end of the project the Watch List totaled about 600 names. One reason for the
growth of the Watch List is that the categories into which these individuals or
organizations fell were progressively broadened over the years. In April 1957, for
example, a CIA memorandum suggested five narrow categories of names:

(1) former agents or covert contract personnel who originally came from
"the Denied Area" in Europe, were utilized by the Agency, and have now
been resettled in the United States or Canada;

(2) defectors from "the Denied Area" in Europe who were under the
control or auspices of the Agency and who have now been resettled in the United States or Canada;

(3) repatriates from the United States or Canada who were originally
brought to the United States or Canada under the auspices of the Agency and who have now returned or will return to the USSR;

(4) suspected Soviet agents or other individuals either temporarily or
permanently residing in the United States, who are known or suspected of being engaged in counterespionage or counterintelligence activities on behalf of the USSR; and

(5) foreign nationals, originally from the USSR and satellite countries,
now residing in the United States and presently being utilized by the
Agency in any capacity. 37

Within a short time, the Watch List had expanded far beyond these relatively narrow and well-defined categories. The names of individuals who were in contact with Watch Listed persons and organizations were frequently added to the list themselves,
38 and, as an August 1961 memorandum points out, a very large percentage of the names on the list were placed there because of "leads which came about through the
random selection." 39 ...”

We can see a pattern here of abuse growing into SOP.
These guys don’t abandon these programs when they are slapped as the
failed Church commission tried to do. Dirty deeds done still need to be
done ( like after 1973) they merely have to exercise caution, plausible deniability, or depend upon a compliant press machine when they trip over there own dicks.
I remember the election show between Darth Vador & Snoppy. HaHa
I sure can find [NOT] a preponderance of press about Nixionnnnn.......
appointing the bastard to direct the CIA in the late 60’s hellooo....
Now the idiot son of an asshole as well as his dad’s former
agency are here for the duration. Only now they can leave more feathers around.

Why don’t you cut the liberal/conservative BS and get square with me.
You’re a technician, or so I understand, don’t dance on this.
Aren’t you a bit worried ? The elite forces are sometimes purged when
they become a perceived threat, or of no further use, or lose.
despite the loyalty of the victims
This can happen in a purge or a scourge to deal with
you know, the backlash, the blowback, from an equation of poverty,
over population, destruction of resources. outrage hatred and revenge.
This will happen despite the satellites, IR technology and electronic
surveillance, layers of lethal force or brutal repression.
Despite the planned culls (you call them genocides) or
goodies from your black labs.
Your guys are just too damn greeeeeedy.
And they trip over their dicks constantly.
They only keep feeding and they’ll eat you alive unless you’re on
the top; and you aint.
It’s your worthless ass I’m also trying to watch.

plumb, square, and true

by Eric Tuesday, May. 06, 2003 at 2:53 AM

"Why don’t you cut the liberal/conservative BS and get square with me."

I've not been anything but avowedly true with you sheepdog. But obviously you think me deceptive. What is it that you'd ask of me? I have no fear and am free answer, any and all, truthfully.

I absolutely am a technician, a specialist among my ranks, and am not a member of any elitist faction. And history has proven your words correct, time tested, that frequently those in the rule are churned to the bottom, ripped to shreds by the grinding wheels of process and disposition.

But throughout history, there have been those untouchables, that for reasons that are not quite clear to most, were able to move too and fro, changing direction like the wind, never to come under the cognizance of the Bastille storming revolutionaries, or the cold steel of their guillotine. These have been and forever shall be, the true leaders of men. The ghosts. The spooks. Apparitions that only serve to tap the shoulder of a man, but when he turns to look, are gone.

Greedy? You're analysis fails you. Greed is too easy a path to follow. It's instinctive and rooted in survival. None of us who think would choose such a comfortable haven, would we? That's far too cliche and simple. No, we're motivated by other constituents that are far more complicated and conceived, but not in the least bit devious.

And I appreciate the notion of YOU watching MY ass for me. Thanks. As they say, "it's not the gift, but the thought, that counts." But should the tide turn, you'll need me here at the jaws of the dragon to satiate the beast temporarily while you plan your next move. If truth be told, it should be YOU thanking ME.

You're welcome.

>It is an interesting footnote to the Third Reich that after Hitler took Emergency Powers.....

What's interesting is how the history books of most of the leftists/anarchists that post here only go back to Nazi Germany. Did the Earth exist before then to you people?

>Where's your need to know?

First of all, I won't obtain your personal information. LA-IMC would. I don't care who you are or where you are. So, do you trust them? I do find it interesting that you continue to post here at LA-IMC. Are you sure the lines are secure? Even nessie at SF-IMC admitted if their were a sniffer on any box in town it would be those of IMC's. He was quite confident they knew personal information on everyone was who had ever logged on to any IMC's. So, your paranoid enough not to want to register at LA-IMC, but yet you continue to post here knowing (as you preceive it) everything you write is mounting evidence against you. If you believe all these things you do, then you have to believe that if they perceived any of you as a threat, you'd be dead already. You couldn't stop them, not if they REALLY wanted to get you.

But like I stated, registration isn't going to happen here. It'd chase away the clients. Too many fantasies of "In my hand I hold a list....."

by Sheepdog Tuesday, May. 06, 2003 at 4:59 AM

Eric, thank you once again with your thoughtful input.
My problem you see, is this.
These shadows that slip between the rain drops. You impart to them a wisdom almost, if not outright, mystic. Bullshit. Knowledge is power and
the people, my flock, damnit, are being butchered and tortured and I feel
their sickening pain, Your side has taken away the right of humanity to
know the true flows of power in order to ride it at the expense of their labor and common-wealth. You bet ignorance is strength.
That dragon is of your own creation.
The real problem with survival is the neglect of human potential, to keep
a class of individuals on the strings of this collective harp.
These individuals are not dogs. I don’t approve of some monkeys thinking
they’re better than other monkeys and treating the world as their personal
whore house and target gallery. I’m funny that way.
Particularly when they endanger the biosphere.

You feel their pain.

by Eric Tuesday, May. 06, 2003 at 7:14 AM

How humanitarian of you. I'm certain they appreciate your concern, same as me.

But DNC is correct with that old-boss, new-boss, same as any boss bit. You offer your bait up to the starving flock, expecting it to get snapped up, and instead you draw back a nub. Can't explain exactly why they don't take heed and listen and respond the way they should?

After all, they're your flock, you're the sheepdog and you know what's best. Ever stop to think you might be a sheepdog riding herd on other dogs? Some dumber, some smarter, but all dogs are canine loyalists to something or someone. Maybe you're the lone-wolf, part of the pack, or subservient to your master. The other dogs don't know, but you can bet they're not going to turn a blind side to you, no matter what con you try to run. To do so, would be suicide. No, they'll just growl back, content with the stand-off.

There is a thermostat that triggers the purges and scourges you speak of, and it's called disatisfaction. In some cultures the trigger point is set a lot higher than others. I've been some places and talked to some people that made me wonder even if the thermostat worked at all. In Ouagadougou, a local told me about how speaking out against his government would easily result in his extermination. And I've heard that story more than once, in many places. But it is places and people like those that allow me to guage my own satisfaction, and the satisfaction of the dogs in my neighborhood.

Take a trip someplace and see for yourself. Doesn't much matter where you go, as long as it's outside of the States.

We live in a wonderful place, compared to most. And as long as the dragon allows us opportunity, food, shelter, life and freedom, consider him just and merciful. Until he doesn't, they'll be those of us who fight on his side.

by Sheepdog Tuesday, May. 06, 2003 at 10:33 AM

1. We can only prey for government tracking to divert resources into informational overload by producing
a. red herrings.
b. legal ambushes.
c. counter intelligence and counter effects testing.
d. all of the above.
2. Do a shoe fly shoo?
3. We have our evil reasons, involving scalar
cavity resonance artificial intelligence & world domination.
Now and then we dangle information.
Any other questions?

These are, like, yes and no questions. Can you answer them or can't you?

I mean, when registering is mentioned, you refer to Google searches of "subversive watch lists" or something along those lines. Yet LA-IMC itself could be (and according to nessie, all IMC's are being) monitored. Yet you have no problem posting your comments here. Either you're worried.....

You're right.
We should all relax
don't worry.

#4. Worried? Hmmmm. Not more than most people.
I just refused to be jerked off. Let me explain, since you need a tour...
We get spam in an incremental dosage until it becomes very
annoying as it becomes more vicious or racist or perverted
and funny thing is, mostly it's directed at the threads
beyond its usual surface disruptive tactics against the folk
on my side. Then you guys begin a solution dialogue into a
thread as I notice the same suggestion occurring more often
in other threads.
I say let the information awareness office earn its pay.
I shouldn't worry about it though. I was just curious.

Another thought

by Sheepdog Wednesday, May. 07, 2003 at 5:20 PM

Down in Guatemala, our muffler came off when we wandered
into a buss road loaded with clobber stones. We needed
some wire. When I walked into the town to get some, the
locals regarded me with extreme distrust even as I was dressed moderately and was polite.
I was told to be careful because 'strangers could die around here' if the army came. This is fear and the people know about it. Miserable jungles, grinding poverty and solders that stop you by the road with automatic weapons and rob you
And that was only Guatemala.
.This is a future I don't wish to see here or anywhere
in order to keep some ideologues feeling like they're
above the rest of us for some reason other than being well
schooled in manipulating cultivated human frailty to their own advantage. They are sick and evil because they
care not for the survival of the species.
It would take courage as well as sacrifice to try and turn
this one but the place we're heading aint good for us.

Yadda yadda yadda yadda

by Eric Thursday, May. 08, 2003 at 10:11 AM

I was driving on a back road in Tegucigalpa quite recently, headed to the gas station, took a wrong turn and ended up lost. Got pulled over by Honduran military police at a surveillance checkpoint. Being the Gringo that I am, speaking very little Spanish, and they not speaking ANY English, I thought I was pretty much screwed. They directed me out of the car and searched it very thoroughly. I had several hundred dollars in my wallet, they frisked me, I pulled it from my pants pocket and showed them it was a harmless wallet. They smiled politely and let me be on my way. Eventually, I made it to the gas station.

And that was just in Honduras.

In fact, I've been queried by police and military in Shenyang, Quito, Lagos, Tel Aviv, Cape Verde, and Lahore as well. Confronted often because I stick out like a sore thumb in most of the places my work carries me. But I've never had a problem. Not once.

I wish the police were as vigiliant in America at challenging strangers.

I don't want to see America become a police state either. But you don't see people flying planes into buildings in Guatemala.

Somebody has to be way over here on the right to balance out all the leftism around here. That's my job. It's what I do. Counterbalance.

I'm not sure where America is going either sometimes. To me, it's all that continuos leftist squeaking that is the cause of most of the turmoil in this country. Who cares if we have "one nation, under God" in our pledge? Who cares if highschool students down in Georgia throw an "all white" prom? Why can't I have some of the tax money I pay in back, in the form of vouchers, to send my children to private schools if I want to? And why should I have to foot the bill for ever socialist medical program, drug rehab program, welfare and unemployment program that the left can think up?

I agree. America may be headed for the crapper if we don't confront these liberals head on. They've gained a strangle hold on our Universities and the minds of our children, and hope is slowly slipping away.

Sheepdog, I don't think you're a liberal. You're just a conspiracist. But there's no answers in chasing ghosts or swatting at imaginary mosquitos. I'm a realist. I deal in facts. And the fact is liberalism has eaten many a nation. There's your dragon. Slay it.

nice hobby, I sculpt, when I have time myself....

by Sheepdog Thursday, May. 08, 2003 at 11:47 AM

I’ll try again.
Cut the liberal/conservative psycho babble which is what it is.
My basic premiss is that the established system of hidden
politics ( an oxymoron ) is threatening the survival of the
human race. This is the prime concern upon which I base
my rational.
A new perspective for life is needed beyond your damn toys
and plenty of fuel to gas em up. You can be clever monkeys when
you’re allowed to be.
There just happens to be a meddlesome, greedy. and insane
group of individuals who push conflict and strife together
for their enrichment. while they stifle progress that endangers their
economic or cultural control.
If we brought them into the light, beyond agents from the
enemies attempts to hide or misdirect us, they would lose
the magic cape they wear and It’s all they have, you know.
Isn’t it time to stop letting these twerps play god?
Even monkeys learn to co operate. But monkeys can't burn
down the forests they live in.

Well, personally...

by Eric Thursday, May. 08, 2003 at 1:45 PM

I'd rather have someone in an air conditioned office, or on a golf course, or at a gated estate making the decisions making those decisions that bring death, because he has my best interests in mind, than some guy who lives in a cave making the exact same decisions, because he hates me, my way of life, my family, my culture, and the very existence of my neighbors.

Don't make ME draw YOU a chart.

Anyone that's ever served on the battlefield knows that sometimes decisions must be made that could result in death. Even if we don't agree. And noone is innocent.

You comments are filled with inferences. Why don't you spell it out for us? You're not talking politics, are you? Oh no. Not you. You wouldn't persist in doing that, just after telling me to cut mine out, would you?

The proof is in the pudding. America has tremendous wealth and freedom, and infinite opportunities. And our masters allow us to indulge in these. How can they be tyrants?
