That same text about plutocracy has been posted at least 100 times on multiple IMCs. Someone just stuck it on Portland with a new headline.

It's not likely he can win, but it's not impossible. His message can carry far and wide. It rings true for many people.

There's also a segment of the ruling class that might give him a little wiggle room (and that would bite them back in the ass because his message will really carry).

also, of course we live in a plutocracy, but strange things can happen

mass movements do have an impact, and we have a mass movement on our hands (anti-war movement); what happens with it over the coming months will be interesting, and there's strong entropy forces acting on it now given the "end" of the war and less singular focus
