KOBE Must Be Impeded Through Active Measures

This dispatch is intended as a viral transmission. For this method of transmission to succeed, others must copy this article and repost it on other outlets. Please copy this dispatch and repost.

A recent article released about KOBE demonstrates that KOBE’s core is composed of police officers. These police officers recruit right wing Americans for the purpose of harassing dissidents. Halting KOBE’s progress requires aggressive tactics. Rightwingers should be forced to give a second thought to joining the KOBE. To this end, effort must be applied to make volunteering for KOBE an unpleasant experience. There are many ways to accomplish this goal.

All forum and online publishing outlets are urged to take not of the IP addresses of those who post to harass dissidents. Whenever possible, the domain owning the IP address should be determined. A message should be sent to the abuse handler for the domain. If the domain belongs to a corporation not involved in providing Internet services, the domain should be assumed to belong to the employer of the KOBE member. Employers should be informed that their employee is engaged in online harassment.

KOBE has used these techniques against dissidents. Police agencies have refused to stop KOBE. It is necessary that we stop KOBE ourselves. For those of you hesitant to take these steps, you should be aware that KOBE actively collects your IP addresses and maintain a database for the purpose of harassing and disemploying you.

Since KOBE is run by a unit of police officers, KOBE members should not be targeted with harassing emails. It is possible that one of the goals of KOBE is entrapment of dissidents that retaliate outside the law. Reporting KOBE members to their employers, posting messages in response to theirs the ridicule KOBE members, and forging embarrassing messages using the KOBE name of KOBE members is not illegal.

We also encourage dissidents to join KOBE undercover. Be careful to set up a false identity before doing so. Use a disposable email address dedicated only to communication with KOBE should you choose this rout. The purpose of infiltration is not necessarily the acquisition of information about KOBE members. The purpose of infiltration is to increase distrust between KOBE members.

Dissidents are encouraged to contact the media about KOBE. The more exposure KOBE receives, the more difficult it will be for the law enforcement members of KOBE to justify their use of death threats against dissidents.

KOBE is a prototype for future harassment. It must not be allowed to succeed. If KOBE succeeds, it is certain that its technique will be copied and become ubiquitous. It is in our best interest to destroy KOBE.
