the difference between iraq and the US is that when ppl rot in jails in iraq. it is actually condemned. too bad nobody does shit about it tho. hopefully that situation will change. but here in america, it is perfectly fine and acceptable to treat asylum-seekers in this manner and there is not enough condemnation on the part of regular americans. i mean think about them, they are not just assholes, these are people who have been tortured persecuted etc... the least you could do is treat them like asylum seekers. tehres no reason to treat them like animal/criminals.
