What has the pentagon said in this war that was true?
Captain Philip Wolford, the man in command of the tank division responsible for the deaths of two journalists in the Palestine Hotel, says he had no idea that the hotel was housing journalists nor was he told to avoid the building as a target. He told the French publication Le Nouvel Observateur, "I cannot for a moment imagine that information sent by the divisional headquarters would not have got to me." April 21, 2003 @ 11:25AM
I have spoken to several soldiers who get daily briefings. All of them are under the impression that we as an army have taken every precaution to avoid unecessary death. Even their interoffice memmo's appear to be lies however, since the whole world knew the Palestine was full of journalists, and the U.S. had offered protection just a day before to the hotel.

Ba dheas an radharc é na dealbha amaideacha ag teacht anuas agus macnas na ndaoine agus iad ag taispeáint boinn na mbróg do Shaddam. Pé shaghas rialtas a bheidh acú san am atá romhainn ní feidir é a bheith níos measa ná cheana. Mar a dúirt fear amháin "It was the worst possible life. They could kill you anywhere, in the street, at home, at work, anywhere."
Sin é an fáth go raibh mé i bhfábhar an cogadh agus sílim go raibh tromlach mhuintir na hÉireann ag smaoineamh an rud céanna. Níl muinín dall agam ar na Meireacánaigh ach is cuma liom más rud é go bhfuil ola uathu. Sílim nach bhfuil ola mar phríomhaidhm acú ach slándáil. Is cuma liom, níl siad "baby killers" mar a deireann ár gcara an Chiaróg. Beidh saol níos fearr ag na daoine agus ta sé de dhualgas orainn san Iarthar súil a choinneáil orthu. Tá an Afgháin ag sleamhnú ar ais san fhoiréagan agus tá an daibhreas agus ocras ag céasadh iad fós. Is tír saibhir í an Iraic agus má bhíonn cothrom na féinne ann beidh sochaí síochanach séimh acu i gceann tamaill gearr.
Bhí cuid acu ag tabhairt blathanna do na Poncánaigh - an gcreidfea é?
