On Saturday, April 12 a benefit show was schedualed for Sherman Austin from Raise the Fist (raisethefist.com), and the Long Beach REACH Center (which is now closing due to LBPD and City Prosecutor). Police apparently contacted the organizers of the show which was being held at the Youth Drop in Center in Garden Grove, CA and said they wouldn't allow the show to happen accusing raisethefist along with one of the bands, Over the Counter Intelligence, who who was scheduled to play, as being extremist and "terrorist".
This is the second time in a row police have shut down a benefit show for Raise the Fist.

Maybe the Police thought Sherman Austin would be handing out more of his bomb making instructions!
The above article sounds like so much self serving b.s. If Sherman had a tape recorded statement or perhaps a letter from the Police Department that specifically stated: "You can't have a concert because yer a Terrorist"... then he'd have a case. But right now, Sherman's story can only be seen as more of his delusional fantasies!
"Raise the Fist" doesn't have my sympathies, and it shouldn't get yours. If you act like a jerk you get treated like one.
