...if he had done more than just mouth the words. The Patriot Act Guts the 1st, 4th, 9th and 10th Amendments to the Constitution. In case you are not familiar with it daveman those are all part of the "Bill of Rights". The Homeland Sekurity Act makes further inroads against the 1st and 4th.

The Patriot II Act being passed around in draft form is something straight out of the Third Reich or Stalin's USSR.
