Did you use Adobe Photoshop?

by Jack B. Nibble Thursday, Apr. 10, 2003 at 6:46 AM

Did you use Adobe Photoshop to put the words, "Human Shields," in the sign these two men are carrying?

Its clear to me this is a doctored photograph.

JACK B OFF

by TVMAN Thursday, Apr. 10, 2003 at 7:12 AM

Right Jack about 50 milliion people in the free world saw this on TV broadcast by every ststion in Iraq and you think it's a doctored photo. The only doctoring needed is one for your ass where your brain can be checked.

How much did Fox News pay those guys to hold up that sign?

by Jim Thursday, Apr. 10, 2003 at 7:24 AM

Given that Fox News is owned by Rupert Murdoch, it wouldn't surprise me they paid these people to hold up the sign.

And Rupert Murdoch owns the Weekly Standard, which is linked to friends of the Bush administration who support this war in Iraq.

If it isn't doctored, its cheap propaganda.

Observe the photo

by L H Oswald Thursday, Apr. 10, 2003 at 7:29 AM

notice the false edge on the left side where 'one'
edge of a 'different' layer exhibits a stationary
time trail where as the background cloth is moving
in a breeze. Other anomalies. Look @ it.

And it's so lame

by Sheepdog Thursday, Apr. 10, 2003 at 7:42 AM

This piece of pig flop is the crudest forgery I've
ever seen. On national TV, you say?
Dear me. This could be embarrassing.

What I See

by What I See Thursday, Apr. 10, 2003 at 7:55 AM

.Notice the space between the first two letters off the word
H umanshields That shows th sign is indeed handlettered probably by stick on lettering. Computer enhancement would not cause this anomly.

Gee I know FOX News paid these men to hold the sign. Grab another straw loosers.

observe the photo

by Sheepdog Thursday, Apr. 10, 2003 at 8:01 AM

Notice the clumsy false shadow on the 'top'
layer. Notice the indeterminate boundary of the
'top' layer. The 'spray on' lettering inside a
'different' frame.

guys with signs

by thomas Thursday, Apr. 10, 2003 at 10:25 AM

Yes, it looks like a sign that was made and then modified. The different lettering, and the guy on the left if you look there is the continuation of a letter. Its not surprising, cheap propaganda is easy. Im sure some people feel that way in Iraq, or at least could be easily influenced to hold a sign like that. Many possibilities

I guess there's no...

by daveman Thursday, Apr. 10, 2003 at 10:28 AM

...possibility the Iraqis REALLY thought the human shields are wankers?

After all, that was MY first impression.

by Nah, daveman Thursday, Apr. 10, 2003 at 10:31 AM

....everyone knows that all the wankers are on IMC yapping their fat clueless mouths. Sheesh, Bush-Propagana-Machine, give it a break until you have a clue....and some fact would be fucking nice.

You mean a fact like...

by daveman Thursday, Apr. 10, 2003 at 10:39 AM

"...it looks like a sign that was made and then modified."

"...Notice the clumsy false shadow on the 'top'
layer. Notice the indeterminate boundary of the

'different' frame."

"...the crudest forgery I've ever seen. "

"...it wouldn't surprise me they paid these people to hold up the sign."

"...Its clear to me this is a doctored photograph. "

You mean facts like those? Ahhh. I understand completely. The made-up kind of facts. The opinions masquerading as facts. The pulled-out-of-your-butt facts.

But the obvious facts? The ones witnessed worldwide? Must be "propaganda".

To Shepdip and the rest of you doubting Thomas'

by Skinner Thursday, Apr. 10, 2003 at 10:40 AM

May be if you nit wits turned on your TV to any news source you chose, you will see the REAL images just as it is dhown above. I have been using Photoshop for three years and do a lot better if I was going to docter the picture. The experts trying to pick out doctoring to the image, don't "Know Jack Shit about Photoshop!"

Denial

by Bush Admirer Thursday, Apr. 10, 2003 at 10:48 AM

The ability of the left to weave and bob is amazing.

These Iraqis walked right through the public square in Bagdad carrying that sign. There is zero doubt that it expresses their true feelings. Why wouldn't they feel that way? After all, the Human Shield dorks were trying to keep Saddam's regime in power. That's what the anti-war movement is all about -- keeping Saddam in power.
