Citizen Police Review Board: 510-238-3159.
(Politely ask when their next public meeting will be; after you get that info, you should speak your mind about this morning's events. This puts them on notice that you'll be attending.)
Their next meeting will be on April 10th at 6:15 pm in hearing room 1 at Oakland City Hall.

my sister is a Berkely student. I called the department and told them that if they did not reign in their police department that I would start a coalition of mothers who would subsequently begin pulling their students from campus, and believe me, it had an effect.
I am not suggesting you lie when you call in, but Berkely is a main source of revenue in this area and it really threatens them if you tell them you're going to start pulling students out of there because you fear for their safety under this brutal police force.
If you really are a Berkely parent you have a strong voice on this matter, the city is very protective of that schools image.
Your children can get hit as an innocent bystander much like the longshore workers, fight to keep them safe from bad pigs.
