What in heaven's name is wrong with those police officers and, even more importantly, what is wrong with the people in charge of them.
This is awful. What in God's name were they protecting by this sort of abuse against citizens who were exercising their Constitutional rights. I hope that some of the officers who did this are charged criminally and that the injured bring civil suits against them.
There is NO justification for this and there certainly is NO excuse.
