California woman launches web site to help researchers
and students find valid and worthwhile information on
the WWW about our 42nd President.
CA. April 2003- WeMissBill.com was launched today in
an effort to promote valid research on the WWW about
Bill Clinton. The site, created and maintained by Ventura,
California based web designer Jocelyne Rohrback-Ovalle
offers students and researchers the opportunity to easily
access everything they need about our 42nd President.
Links to speeches in text and audio, books, images,
photo galleries, campaign commercials, articles, news
and "Bill updates" are all available at WeMissBill.com.
Even if you don't miss Bill, you'll still find this
site to be an enjoyable walk down memory lane through
the powerful images and speeches that helped define
college, I studied political rhetoric and spent hours
scouring the 'net for text and audio of Bill's speeches
for school." says Rohrback-Ovalle "I just
got tired of finding nothing but "Monica-jokes"
and anti-Clinton sites that offered no research value
whatsoever." Rohrback-Ovalle says she decided to
design her own site with hopes to promote valid research
materials already located on the WWW, but inaccessible
to the average surfer. "Most of the links I provide
on WeMissBill.com are hard to find and located all over
the web. I am hoping that it helps communication students
find what they need in one place without the stupid
admittedly, WeMissBill.com is pro-Clinton, the site
itself offers something for everyone. "It's not
a Bill-worship site," says Rohrback-Ovalle "it's
a place that I created to help preserve the legacy of
our 42nd president because I think he deserves it. He
did a lot for me, now it's my turn to do something for
site itself is deemed "Safe for Kids" by the
Internet Content Rating System because of its hand-filtered
content, making it a great resource for school-aged
children as well as college researchers and students.
"You can even register to vote online, access your
local politicians and find out how to become more politically
active in your community."
