Palestinian and Jewish Women's Perspectives: a talk at Cal State LA, April 14

A Palestinian woman and a Jewish woman will share their perspectives on the current plight of the Palestinian people.

On Monday, April 14, at 4:30 to 6:00 PM, in the Alhambra Room of the Student Union, the Humanist Association at Cal State L.A. is presenting the program: "The Plight of the Palestinians." History Prof. Afshin Matin-Asgari will moderate a seminar given by Rola Karam of Friends of Sabeel, presenting a Palestinian perspective, and Sabrina Brahms of Women in Black, presenting a Jewish perspective, of the painful situation in which the people of Palestine now find themselves. Rola Karam has an MA degree in International Affairs with a focus on the Middle East. Sabrina Brahms is now a doctoral candidate in Organizational Systems. There will be time for questions. Decaf and regular coffee and water will be provided.
