Seeing this picture should remind us that we are part of a global community. We are all consumers here in the U.S. but please be wise about your purchases. Go to www.boycottthewar.org for info on how to buy as little U.S. as possible. If you have $$$ burning a hole in your pocket please use it wisely! Money speaks volumes....especially to the currently "deaf" Bush administration and their backers!

So you want to boycott buying American goods, better yet why don't you just quit your job and or dropout of school. "Cut off Your Nose to Spite Your Face."

I don't think these Iraqis would support your boycott.
Perhaps you should stop eating Amercian food, drinking American water and breathing American air - so that you won't be such a damn hypocrite. Oh, and don't buy any gas for your car - no blood for oil, after all.

Yes, boycotting American and other corporate products is an effective form of protest that has been long overdue in the anti-war movement. Corporations should cough up the money themselves for humanitarian aid and the war itself since they are the ones who stand to benefit from American Imperialism.
While we are being distracted by the invasion and raping of Iraq, the IRS is getting poised to royally fuck us all thanks to the war and bush's tax cut for the rich.
Nevermind the moron's comment above about not using gas and air; he speaks with an aire of entitlement that is an insult to the original inhabitants of this stolen land, my ancestors.

something also seems very staged about this image, like as if the youths were told to smile for the camera.
"Little Akbar, your homeland has just been devastated, I mean, 'liberated,' by coalition forces, what are you gonna do now? "I'm going to Disneyland!"
Also, be skeptical about what they're given for food. Remember, after we destroyed the infrastructure of Iraq in the first Gulf War and subsequent bombings (including the water salinization plants), the food for oil program gave them a bunch of food stuffs that were primarily sugar-based, causing dehydration and dysentary among the populace.

Saddam got money for the oil he sold, what did he chose to do with it?

I wonder, Apache, if you think these Iraqi children are better off with or without Saddam. Your reflexive hatred for your own country is sad.
Are you upset about paying taxes? Why? Don't you think you should pay your fair share for all the great things you receive as an American citizen?

I hope that I've made it abundantly clear how much of a brainwashed buffoon I am. I must go now so that I can get some more "news" from Fox. I just love that Bill O'Reilly! He's my idol.
