LA TOMMORROW AND LATER DATES

by gustavo Wednesday, Mar. 26, 2003 at 4:42 AM
mike169@mail.com

what is going on tommorrrow? where and when are the marches/protests going to be

ok civil disobedience, temporary shutdown of streets, and protest is doing good and all, but we need to think on a larger scale. im sure ever one has the will, but we dont have the numbers, yet atleast. i say we plan a shutdown of either westwood, downtown, or hollywood. i mean a TOTAL SHUTDOWN, like they are doing in san francisco and new york and many other cities around the world. the main thing i see wrong with LA protesters is lack of organization, we need to organize, and take to the streets. we have to make sure business does not run as usual, make sure that no one is buying while thousands are dying. so lets all get together and organize this shit. this monday maybe? it would be best on a weekday since people have work and whatnot, we have to shutdown all businesses.

if you dont want to have the right to bash your country and critisize the government and protest, then move to north korea or palestine or something, whats great about america is that we have the right to do this, i love this country but i hate the government with a pashion, its time the US had a regiem change

Cruising

by Boxcutter Wednesday, Mar. 26, 2003 at 6:23 AM

gustavo, sounds like your cruising for some action, try Hollywood at the gay theaters. Rather then trying to screw-up our community, go to SF where you can exchange bodily fluids with your kind.

IDEA FOR PROTEST

by Nice Kitty Wednesday, Mar. 26, 2003 at 7:43 AM

Why not organize a "convoy" of automobiles (say 1,000 or more), all decorated to the tee, expressing our views against war, the hypocricy of the Bush Admin., and whatever each individual protester feels strongly about, and organize a parade of our "peace mobiles" all throughout Los Angeles. We could all follow each other in an enormous "pack", driving REAL SLOW, playing music, chanting, honking, etc,. We could drive down major streets like Santa Monica, Wilshire, etc., or even go on the freeways during rush hour. Perhaps we could also drive through real conservative parts of town to give the "pro war" peeps a little visit. It would be like the Rose Parade, but we could call it the Peace and Justice Parade.... Any comments?

I like the car idea- very LA. Maybe spread the idea to an activist organization that would go for that tactic.

GREAT IDEA FOR A PROTEST

by JC Wednesday, Mar. 26, 2003 at 6:18 PM

How bout this. We get 100,000 thousand protestors and jam into hollywood once there we all blow our own brains out and ths city will be shut down for days while they police up the stinking bodies.

We could really show our solidarity with Saddam, El Oueda. and HAMMAS and by sacraficing our lives we could act as replacements for the next victims of a terrorist attack thereby saving other innocent Americans.

A substitution in kind. I'll call El Queda and HAMMAS and set up the contract.

Power to the peeps.
