USA Propaganda: How the fuck do you hide a 100 acre chemical weapons plant?

by I smell a rat Tuesday, Mar. 25, 2003 at 3:24 AM

Uh, so here we have the US government needing to lie about Iraqi importation of Uranium from Africa, with full forged documents.

And here we have the US government officials from Bush on down saying over and over that Iraq is linked to Osama-bin-forgotten and 9-11 so often, against denials by even the CIA and FBI that over half of the American public thinks it's true....

lies upon lies upon lies....... And now, we're supposed to believe that after the US intelligence agency was so hard pressed to find evidence that it had to manufacture it that -- lo and behold -- they found a 100 acre giant chemical weapons plant?

Uhhhhh.... Does anyone get the sneaking suspicion that the people in charge of creating propaganda smoked too many joints today? OK, maybe we'll ultimately see that that this story is true. But I suspect this is going to sink faster than you can flush your toilet. Every single square acre of that country has been looked at with US spy satellites.

Here's a tip for you government wanks -- lay off the weed, and consider planting a story that might be able to pass the rat-smell-test, like maybe planting one of those bogus mobile chemical weapons trucks that Hans Blix denied existed following General Colin Powell waxed philosophical about.

'CHEMICAL PLANT FOUND'

A huge chemical weapons factory has been found in Iraq, according to Pentagon sources.

The facility was found by advancing US troops in An Najaf, around 100 miles south of Baghdad, the sources say.

The general in charge of the factory was arrested by the 1st Brigade of the Third Infantry division and is being questioned, the sources said.

An unconfirmed report by Fox news said the complex is around 100-acres, adjacent to military barracks and surrounded by an electric fence.

Sky News Reporter Ian Woods said if the claims are substantiated they will in part vindicate President Bush and Prime Minister Blair.

They have argued the case for war against Iraq on the grounds that Saddam Hussein had banned weapons of mass destruction, including chemical and biological weapons.

The Iraqi regime has always denied this and UN weapons inspectors sent back into the country at the end of last year failed to find any evidence to suggest otherwise.

And on this find the UN said it did not know of any such installation.

Inspections not working?

yes... this smells fishy. One hundred miles away from Baghdad, next to a military base, large site, and the inspectors missed it.

We are not even talking about the underground shit...

They have to find chemical weapons in order to justify this war, and I don't believe any of this...

The latest I read...

...over at WhatReallyHappened.com has them already backtracking on this story. Seems a lot people thought this failed the sniff test. So, they appear to be backpeddaling like mad to say they really didn't mean it.

They said that they would find some

by Not George Tuesday, Mar. 25, 2003 at 4:50 AM

Tommy Franks and some other higher up both said in the last few days in very definate tones that they would find WMDs as they invade Iraq. This seemed a little strange that they could make these statements yet they couldn't tell the UN where to find any such goods. Smells funny to me!

But then again what else were they going to use that slick drone plane (balsa wood and duck tape) of theirs if not to deliver the tons of chemicals?
