AMERICA THE GREAT

America is so innocent.

There once was a brutal dictator called Saddam. Saddam used to brutalize his own population with whatever weapons he had. He didn't like the Iranians living next door. There once was a great country called America. They didn't like the Iranians either. So they gave WMD to Saddam knowing fully that he would use them on the Iranians. Lo and behold he did! Not only that, he also used WMD on his own people! After that, America continued to support Saddam Hussein. A couple of years later, when Saddam decided not to be America's friend, America kicked his ass. 10 years after that, America called him a tyrant who brutalized his people. Of course, America had no part in his brutalization of his people. Indeed, America was innocent after all. And the Americans lived happily ever after in their ignorance.

Moral of the story: Ignorance is Bliss (as shown by the war advocates who believe themselves to be righteous and believe their government to be angelic in its deeds)

- My justification for sayin Reagan and Bush senior need to be jailed

And if America wants to redeem its innocence, it needs to formally apologize to the Iranians, Iraqis and Kurds maimed or killed by US supplied WMD. It needs to also promise never to support brutal dictators again.
