Hello everyone!

We have been hard at work on the conference and we have some great updates. There will be three concurrent workshop tracks, one focusing on Border issues and two on experience-based anarchist organizing projects. Our food situation is looking excellent and we have delicious free meals planned for the whole weekend. Although we are still looking for performers, we do have some cool plans for a great social gathering Saturday night, including local fire performers. We are still looking for contacts with elderly anarchists, and encourage people to look into their communities and make some connections with the older folks. If you have any Mexican anarchist contacts, please lend us a hand and send them over.

There are several new resources and updates on our website, www.phoenixanarchist.org/swan We have some awesome fliers, designed by a local artist, finally done and they are up on the website to download and pass out, with a nifty SWAN logo, also designed by another local artist. Also, Phoenix anarchist Yanok has written a tentative network proposal, that is on the website documents page. Consider writing your own proposal. Phoenix anarchists will be meeting soon to discuss the network - you should, too! We will try to have the website translated into spanish soon. As we mentioned in the last mail-out, this conference depends of the work of its participants as much as the organizers. Please visit our website, and register if you are planning on joining us.

A few things to keep in mind, to bring to Phoenix:
~ A good attitude.
~ Clothes for warm weather and a sweater for cool nights. Phoenix has an average high of 83 and low of 51 in April (desert weather), so plan accordingly. Extra toilet paper, bowl and utensils for food, a water bottle, a sleeping bag, a mat, a pillow, first aid basics, sunscreen, a hat, a pen and a notebook.
~ $10 registration fee (no one turned away for lack of funds)
~ Some idea of what you and the anarchists from your town want from the network.
~ A willingness to take on at least one helping/work shift

Thanks to everyone and we look forward to seeing you in April!!!
